When to pay is up to the lady or venue. It is sometimes before and sometimes after. Previously agreed upon extras would be folded into that, and tipping is not expected. So that is very much your call.

There are no hard and fast rules.

In general, paying at the end to the extent that the money is not shown until the end is a third-world concept designed to about the cash & dash done by lower-end hookers, and as part of the petty gameplay that exists in the third world, it shows the dominance of one party over the other in the transaction, which is often important in a male-dominated culture. Portugal isn't a third-world country, or a patriarchy. This same concept bewilders many in that the escort does not encounter a machine gun wielding security person upon entering the hotel, and she is allowed to walk around the hotel by herself and even enter the elevator unsupervised and go to a room and knock.

So unless you are booking from the lowest of the low on a classified ad, just put the money in an envelope with a few bills clearly sticking out. She will probably more it with her eyes and not touch it till the end. A few will stick it in her purse. A very few will count each bill before the session starts, but then she has to worry about appearing to be a third-world girl. A compromise is that some will quietly put it in her purse and count it in the bathroom. Face-saving games occur among first-world people, too. We just aren't as blunt about it.

Tipping is not part of the escort culture in Portugal. If you do it, best not to mention it here. You will likely never be asked for a tip from an escort. Especially if it is outcall, you might hand her a bill if the service was great and say this is in case you incurred a parking charge at the hotel. It avoids the awkwardness of tipping in a non-tipping culture, just as rounding up and leaving coins at the table is part of restaurant culture without it being really called tipping.

BBFS is not a thing. There are reports of a lady or two initiating it to the shock of the customer, and those reports are often deleted or modified on the local board. One long departed EP lady was known to do it, and I mentioned it to him via PM (I am not into BBFS, I just read it in a report and conveyed the info to a guy who asked me about it via PM. She apparently did BBFS with him and when he asked EP to send him another BBFS lady they wouldn't serve him any longer. So as with the USA And Canada, asking for it directly can ruin your trip and cause sessions and relationships to end.

Extras are unknown, as payment for extras have just been started by EP. It was never previously a thing in Portugal. Anal sex is not always successful, but there is generally a lot of lubing and anal play involved, and some ladies claim that if they know a customer wants anal beforehand they change their eating habits and a few do a minor water-based enema beforehand, even though most doctors recommend against this. Do you still owe the 50 euros for swallowing if she was planning to do so? I suspect the few with that surcharge will discuss it beforehand.

That sounds like a search or syntax error. Like 80 or 90% of the ladies advertising there are primarily or solely incall. That is the case for all the photo-verified advertising sites (as EP is an agency, not an ad site).

You're right, I was using nationality = Portuguese as a filter, that narrows down the search quite a bit.

Just to throw out some names from all the photo-verified sites, these are well-regarded ladies who I think are still downtown. The thing to remember is most have rooms near Marques de Pomball or Saldana. I have no idea who, if anyone, of quality is working in Alfama. And I may be wrong about the location. The ladies move.
