I spent a few days touring Lisbon, flew to Germany, and then stopped overnight in Lisbon on my way back to the USA. I visited Portugal mostly for tourism but wanted to see at least what the P4P scene is like for future reference.

I went to Lisbon for a few days and here is my experience (others may be more luckier). My description of the locations may be slightly...do correct me if this is the case.

Firstly the city is really beautiful to walk around. On a Friday / Sat evening if you go to some of the busier bars around Cais de Sodre and Baixa Chiado (both metro) you will see some of the most beautiful women in Europe, if not the world. The younger Portuguese women are simply beautiful. Thats about all you will get 'seeing'.

For a country with relatively low GDP there is very little in terms of quality paid for sex availability at reasonable prices (i.e. overnights less than Euro 300 / 400) .

There are street hookers available but the quality is so poor you wont give a second glance. (there were some around R do Ferragi)

The locals even tend to use agencies (I had a few contacts there), if you want reasonable quality then the price is not far off central london prices. If you want lower prices than what you may normally pay in the rest of Europe you will be disappointed.

The women from the agencies are OK but still nowhere near the quality of the locals handing out in the bars.

If you have time on your hands you will be better of trying to chat the Brazilian bar staff / waitress up. I did make some progress but was not around long enough to see it to completion.

In short this is not a great place for mongering. If you are on the younger, slimmer side with some balls you may be able to get freebies with some of the seasonal workers. It would appear that sex is more easily obtained for free than paying for it (as long as you are relatively attractive and have chatting up time).

The supply side is very limited and its probably to do with the fact that people don't go to Lisbon to make their fortune......so you just wont see many women selling their bodies for money. They come here for the culture not the money.
