The place seems to be a franchise of a Spanish brand. It is really very comfortable and well decorated – even the music is in fact relaxing. The moment you walk in the door, you feel transported to a different world. I enjoyed the Thai massage (140€), by a pretty Portuguese girl called Ana. I spent two hours there, if you include a shower before and another one afterwards. It did make me feel good on a bad day. And yes, you’re naked during the massage (the masseuse wears only panties), and yes, she gives you the most fantastic handjob in the end.

I've only just discovered this website, and so am new to this forum. Reading through these pages, a lot of this information would've been useful to me when I visited Lisbon last year and earlier this month. The first time I visited I didn't even go there thinking about a scene, but was pleasantly suprised when I walked through Poco during the day to see loads of lovely girls hanging around. Muri's information is that the Poço is essentially unchanged: well, not quite unchanged, for apparently the entrance and staircase up to the pensão have undergone a much-neeeded refurbishment.

Otherwise, faces come and faces go, but the Poço's tradition, dating back more than a thousand years, is unbroken. Any time between mid day and 9pm, you may try your luck.

If you arrive and find the place deserted apart from some elderly locals, do not despair, this only means that the Romanian babes and the cops are having one of their little games of cat-and-mouse at the taxpayer's expense.
