I decided to check out the Cotton Club last night. This is a bit further out from me, but I wanted to complete the survey of those clubs within walking distance. It was smaller than I thought, smaller than Photus or Passarelle. The first shock was the 30Euro entry fee. Double the entrance fee to those places. I momentarily considered going to Passarelle instead, which was on my route home anyway, but my curiosity got the better of me. To be fair, it does include one drink, and like Passarelle, it is a decent size drink. I ordered a cognac, that I was able to nurse for a couple of hours.

Otherwise the prices were much the same as Photus. 50 for private, 80 for contact (marginally cheaper than Photus where they are 85). Yes, contact dances are available. I tried one and got to grope and kiss her breasts for 10 minutes. That's as far as it went. Amusing, but not really value for money.

There was a decent number of girls of a comparable standard to Passarelle, and this time I was able to sit right next to the stage. However, the standard of dancing is not to the same standard as passarelle, and in fact, I hardly got to see any snatch at all, even in the VIP booth (they really need to turn up the lighting in those places).

In conclusion, given the 30Euro entrance fee I don't really see any reason to go here rather than passerelle. Total cost of evening: 110 Euros (30 entrance + 80 contact dance).

Tried this place too, due to previous reports in the Lisbon forum. Not hard to reach, 60 euros for half an hour. Shower in the room, which was nice, so could shower before and after; as did the girl. The girl I picked turned out to be the same girl who answered the door in black lingerie. A black haired, tanned, buxom girl from Minas Gerais. Thanks to Google Maps, I didn't have too much difficulty finding the place. The first time I went, the door was open, so I hiked up the four flights of stairs to the "penthouse." The mama-san, accurately described as a robust peasant type, led me to a room and brought in the girls. There were really just two fairly beefy Eastern European girls who didn't appeal to me too much. The first place I went to is Photus. Quite nice. They give you a card when you go in with 15 Euros on it, which is good for one drink. Intriguingly the picture over the entrance is my favourite Playboy Playmate Cheryl Bachman, so I was in a pretty good frame of mind. It was about midnight on a Saturday and I was the only one there. Dancing on stage hadn't started yet. I looked through the price list. One of the girls started talking to me and tempted me with the Full Contact dance at 85 Euros, but she was way too skinny and I didn't know what I was getting into so I declined. Question 1: How far does the full contact dance go? Dancing started around 12:30. Not bad, but it would have been nicer if I could have sat nearer the stage. The girls were a mixture. One black girl with a fabulous body called Samantha was a 9, another busty blonde called Jasmine an 8 and who looked like a girl who would ratchet up the excitement a notch. A couple of 7s, Leia and Patricia, with whom I had reasonable but not amazing bed dances later. These cost 45 or 50 Euros and are pretty much like the friction dances in Miami. Nice, but overpriced. The other 4 girls were so-so. I was surprised that there were only 8 girls there. The club really filled up coming up to 2 am, so at that point they seemed a little understaffed. All Brazilians except for Patricia who was from Mozambique I think. Total cost of evening: 15 (entrance) + 100 (2 "bed dances")

The next place I tried was Nocturne 76. This turned out to be a much smaller place and probably catering for a more casual clientele. Still there were quite a few girls there, unfortunately only one of whom could speak English. One girl there who was an 8/9, and a good dancer too, but seemed very uninterested in getting any business. Private dances 40 Euros, "Nocturne Orgy" (! ? ) 100 Euros. I didn't do either, just had a couple of Cuba Libres and watched the stage. Only spent 20 Euros in total! A place to go if you want a cheaper option.

Much much much fancier is Passarelle. More girls (maybe 14) and mostly better looking. Some quite nice dancing on stage although I think they need to redesign it a bit because I often found my view blocked by pillars. A card system again with 15Euros. I used it to get a Bourbon, and to be fair they gave me a fairly large measure, though maybe they thought to loosen me up. Drinks are expensive (40 Euros for a lady drink! ) Girls ranged from 7 to 9 and they could all dance! I was tempted by a girl called Jacqueline who then offered me 3 dances for the price of 2 (90 Euros). A good experience, although I wouldn't say spectacular. Still I would recommend her unless you insist on a greater level of contact. There is no full contact at Passarelle although I was intrigued by the Lesbian Show at 160 Euros. A very attractive Romanian girl called Sara I spoke too later tempted me with this but I thought it would probably turn out to be a tease. Unless they are using toys on each other or something I'm not going to part with 160 Euros. Question 2: Anybody out there tried it? Total cost of evening: 15 (entrance) + 90 (dances) + 40 (drink for Sara) + 10 (tip for doorman) = 155. Is it normal to tip the doorman?

Just out of curiosity I went to EB last Saturday. Walked right in. They didn't charge any entrance at all, but maybe that was because I was early. before 9. Bought a coke and watched the football. The girls started coming in just before 11. Again nearly all Brazilians. I wasn't hassled by the barman in that time to buy more drinks. I watched the talent for a while and some said they wanted to go home with me but, like I said, I'm not really in that market any more, unless some girl makes my heart stop. Variable quality from some older and overweight girls to some 8s. Average I would say a 6. After finishing my third coke I left. Total cost of evening: 30 Euros (3 cokes). 10 Euros for a coke is a bit much, but it was about what I expected.

I have already been to Lisbon several times but was always with family and was never able to party.

This time I was by myself and managed to arrange an overnight stopover to check the scene. Had just come from a trip to the German clubs, so I was more curious than horny.

Probably the info below will not be great news for you regulars in Lisbon, but may be of some use to newbies.

Went to 2 clubs:

-Night and Day. I was charged 25 euros to get in, 2 drinks included. Later on was told by a girl that bouncers charge you nothing or less/more than that depending if you are local or a regular at the club. I speak Portuguese fluently but was charged anyway...
Nice club, very discreet, looks like a normal bar/disco.
Looks of the girls- from 4 to 8 in my scale, 95% Brazilian girls. Was approached by a nice Portuguese girl, Sandra, who wanted to charge me 150 euros for one hour, "residencial" ( a cheap hotel nearby)included. Average pricing is 150 for the hour. Girls were always polite and not pushy, but you are supposed to buy one drink to the girls, 12,5 euros, rule of the house. Talked to a few others, was tempted but decided to check the other club, Gallery, first.

- Gallery- 10 meters away from Night and Day, in the same street (forgot the name). Again was told they charge you according to their liking, may be this time my Portuguese worked and was charged 10 euros to get in, no drinks included. Regarding facilities and girls, far better. Drinks are cheaper,10 euros for customers or girls(beer, red bull or soft drinks) Again 95 % Brazilian girls, but talent was much better, looks from 6 to 9,5 in my scale. More expensive also, they began asking 200 euros for one hour but was able to cut it to 150.Was not really in the mood for paying that, would have to catch a flight the following morning and just chatted with several girls, always lying I would be in town for business for 2 weeks and would be back to the club. Again girls were very friendly and not pushy, some even kept on chatting after I said I would not take them for a spin that night.

I was supposed to go to the infamous Elefante Branco but did not have the time.

Verdict: found both clubs expensive to have sex, may be I am spoiled by Germany and Spain. Gallery was waaay better than Night and Day. The cost of the "residencial" (cheap hotel) was 20 euros for one hour, possible to include the cost of it in the fee to be paid to the girl, or just take her to your hotel. From what I read here the privates are a better choice. Although I have to say I was really tempted by some very nice Brazilian girls at Gallery. Next time will try to check the privates.

I haven't been much in Lisbon. And what I've experienced, after the quality of the girls and of the service in the German FKKs (specially The Palace, in Frankfurt), has been felt as sorely lacking.

after the experince in porto, me and my collegue passed to lisboa.
we will stay only for 2 days, and the first day was spent by fado+vine.
