This will also be my last post on 'photoshopping' but not because I think it's a "nothingburger" or an insignificant topic; it's more because I'm debating with people who don't understand what 'photoshopping' means despite it being a widely used term. Moreover, the rationale displayed in some of the arguments below seems to lack basic common sense, to put it mildly.

It's one thing doing make-up, using lighting or the photos being "touched up some". It's another thing entirely when for example, you blow up a small pair of breasts and a flat ass and shine a bright light on it. Taken from the oxford dictionary, photoshopping is 'altering an image especially in a way that distorts reality as for deliberately deceptive purposes'. A bit different to being "touched up some". Duh.

As for the most important point being whether a site is verified, well that clearly isn't the most important point as photo verified sites can also paint horribly distorted images (as we're debating). Duh.

Finally, the suggestion that we should be grateful if a site is photo-verified, and shouldn't complain even if we believe pictures are distorted, is utterly bizarre. Again it's not about whether a site is photo-verified, instead it's about the reality of the pictures displayed (photo-verified or not). If we believe they are heavily distorted, we've every right to complain.

The logic used in this photoshopping debate reminds of a discussion last year on incall rates where we named 3 or 4 ladies who charged the rate we were trying to justify, and said "that's the going rate because X, Y and Z charge it". Classic good news and bad news.
