Posts: 12Hi guys, I'm new here. I've been reading this forum here and I must say this board is very informative. I have just a few questions to ask you guys (for now). I did skim through the previous posts.
How safe is Romania? Good idea to travel there by myself?
When is a good time to go to? summer, fall...?
How are Romanian girls like? open minded?, wild? easy?
Any tips on the non-pro?
Kilmar, since you're a Romanian, it would be great if you can give an insight to the culture, people.
Thanks guys.

don't worry you will have success in Europe.
A suggestion based on experience: try to know some girls before going there (for example via ICQ) ask information about the town tell them how "excited" you are about the idea of visiting Romania again and so on, tell them also you never visited the countryside, ask for suggestions ...
You will have to book your weekends out
Great idea also the Japanese lessons
If you do a good job you should be one of the best member here.
Consider also that if you get bored you can easily take a flight to Prague and rest there.
Good luck.

Posts: 7Its funny how here in the State or Canada whenever I go to a strip club with my Asian friend, all the girls seems to zoom in on him because they think he is Asian business man like yourself but in Romania they don’t get that. The girls in the Strip Clubs in Niagara Falls are mostly Easter European and they seem to understand, respect and welcome an Asian man a lot more then others just for the fact that they feel safe with them. I am Romanian so I do understand what my Japanese friend over here is talking about. But don’t let that influence you, last winter I saw an Asian guy with the hottest looking blonde that I have ever seen near Piza Uniri. (I was so jelous) He looked like a typical Asian business man so I wouldn’t worry about the girls over there. They will eventually come around.

Posts: 3Thank you for your advices.
Burnie, I know what you are trying to tell me. But I am not a very nice person. =) Also I was a rugby player in college so I am pretty tough looking too. So I don't really worry about getting mugged or attacked by the skin heads. But just the girls! I have a Romanian girl friend(just a friend) here and she is prettier than French or Italian girls..and of course prettier than Japanese girls.(just in my taste) but this girls is from rich family and very westernized too. She told me tht she might be the ugliest looking girl if she goes to Romania but I can't really trust that. Romanian girls are all that pretty? I don't think so. Even if they are pretty, how can they afford fashion goods and make up goods with $150/month salary? I am very curious.
RP, I truly don't think racism is very serious in Romania. They just have never seen Asians. I am sure many eastern europeans still don't know where China and Japan are located. Even some western euroeans don't know much about Japan except raw fish eating food culture. Even I've met a person who said Sony is American brand! =)

welcome on this noble board! I have some Asian friends here as well, and it seems true that they have a disadvantage here. But I wouldn't call it racism, rather that a lot of Romanians who think themselves terribly smart try to fool and intimidate them. Don't give in to these suckers, and you'll be pretty relaxed here.
One thing I find particulary important to point out is that if you want to live well in Europe, you must absolutely adapt to European lifestyle. You Asians are terribly respectful, nice, cautious and always respecting the rules. Well: these rules don't apply in Europe, and living here with an Asian mentality will get you nowhere. If you want to have a nice time in Europe, you must play the wild card and turn your exotic touch into an advantage instead of seeing it as a disadvantage.
So go buy yourself some classy suits (its cheap here), get yourself a fancy haircut, and be very straightforward, a bit wild, and forget about the rules. Your different look will then play into your hands. Live it up over here. If you can do that, I'm sure you will do fine.
All you then have to do is to advertise yourself as a teacher for private Japanese language lessons at the university.......
Remember: Avoid Asian respectfulness and niceness at all costs!!

I have a Japanese aquantainace here, working on a higher academic degree.
Unfortunately, he has a lot of problems with racisism here, to this day.
I don't want to dissuade you, but this is what he says.
Still there are plenty of open minded university girls if you can figure out an angle to meet them.

I've been just reading the reports here but this is my first post. Well sorry for bad English. I am a Japanese business man currently staying in western Europe.
I've been to Romania when I was in college. It was about 10 years ago when I was in college. My impression was really bad because I met extreme racists(skin head but just dressed normal; not punk look) and they tried to punch me while I was just walking around the street in the afternoon. And I've met pick-pocker(don't know if this word is right;thief) twice and lost pretty big amount of money.
Well that was 10 years ago. I am very sure everything has been changed to more positive way. Even Japan has been changed alot. (but more to negative way. I mean the economy) And recently my company decided to send me to Bucharest and I will need to live there at least 10years. I feel excited but also kinda scary.
Oops, sorry this is WSG..reason I am excited about going to Buch. is cuz of many reports I've read here. but honestly, I don't like the prostituion stuffs. Just not my taste, I don't mean the whole thing. Well, I am in early 30s and not married yet. I am expecting to meet many young girls there but do you guys think it is possible for me? I've found out many W. European girls are not really interest in us Asians. So I am worrying that I might need to leve in Romania w/out sex for more than a year. Someone might say 'it's easy, if you are rich'. but I am not a rich man (somehow every foreigners think all the Japanese are rich) and I am not a western European or American like you guys! =) Could you peole kindly give me some advices and tips or solutions to solve out this problem I am facing?
Thank you.
By the way, my name is Taisuke.
Nice to meet you guys.

it's true the Anuntul site is a useful tool, but it's a lot of hit & miss.
The prices for girls from this site should vary between 20-25 Euro per hour. Stick to that price, whatever they quote you, and they will come down to it.
My advice is to find someone who speaks Romanian once you arrived, and to let him research the Damedecompagnie site for you. There's a forum attached, and a lot of girls are discussed in detail by a lot of guys who have seen them. All in all there's maybe a handful of performers that have really good reviews. Stick to them, since it's not so easy to find good one in this town.
Happy Hunting!

Posts: 45Has anybody had any experience with Elena at www.geocities.com/tenderness1967?
I have booked this lady for a 12 hour session at, what I think, is a very reasonable rate.
The "Anuntul-Telefonic" site appears to be one of the best sites for finding WGs. What experiences has anybody had with this site? What percentage speak English? Do the prices increase for foreigners? Any informationwould be appreciated.

TRYING TO FUCK CHAT HOSTS
thought i would share the results of my efforts chasing these chat host girls that you can meet on places like ifriends.com
first off, i would never do the pay-chat, only talk to them in the free text chat. Out of about 10 hits, i would get a phone number or an email, then make friends with them one of those ways.
Then i would get a meeting out of about half of those. so it takes a lot of effort...
the meetings always sucked: they were uglier in person, or immature ('i have a boyfriend'). none of them wanted to have an adult relationship. I don't let this 'i have a boyfriend' line stop me, but after 3 meetings, if they dont want to have dinner at my apartment or come up after the date...then they are gone
I have given up on this avenue. a waste of time in my opinion. Plus, they are getting smarter. If you meet them and say you like them and trade photos with them, they send your photo around to everyone and ask if anyone knows this guy.
I got busted 3 times like this! sending the same photo to different girls and using the same lines, almost cutting and pasting...
These girls are not usually prostitutues, they are often normal college kids trying to make a living.
Anyways, i have a girlfriend lately so i am off the whoring scene for the time being.
Goodluck boys

Although the tendency of finding anything decent & worthwhile on the internet in Romania is, as we have all seen, something of a hit & miss affair - came accross a new site the other day which might be interesting.
http://www.jador.org/JHome.php
I've not checked this out yet - but if anyone does - then some feedback would be welcome to all I think.
Also about chat sites - try the following :
cautama.ro
noi2.ro
http://dating.acasa.ro
It again won't be instant success- you may have to spend some time chatting - and trying to avoid the fakes - BUT let me assure you it does work.
They say it willl be a long summer in Roimania - I hope so too !

For those of us who need a little bit of extra help from time to time the following web site might be of interest if you're in Bucharest:
http://www.onlineclinic.ro/indexengleza.htm
I visited them this morning and came away with 20mg Cialis for around $14 a tab. Viagra is also available should you only need a quickie! I'm planning to try out the Cialis, which apparently has a longer lasting effect, over a dirty weekend with a young cutie later this month!

Thanks for all the info. I have collcted loads of phone numbers from the sites mentioned and am confident I will have a successful time. What percentage of the girls on these sites (Anuntul telephonic and Deja View) speak English? Does the price usually go up for us westerners? Your comments have been valuable, many thanks.
