I stayed at Radisson Blu in Calle Victoria but, their lifts operate on the room access card which was a pain. I have been there a few times with a further trip in October and have been to the Intercontinental for a drink and to check out the claims made in this forum that WGs could be picked from the bar or just outside the entrance. Nope.

I do not know whether the intercontinental has a similar system. These do not need room access card for the lift:

I have elite status in most hotel groups: Intercontinental, Starwood and Hilton. I have read a lot of the forum and sounds like Intercontinental is good choice. Please help.

I stayed in JW Marriott last time I was there. The ladies love this hotel because they never have problem at all. You need the card to go up the room, so the ladies usually checked in the front desk first while waiting for me to come down. The hotel has a Casino, free drink anytime.

You must know this already. Radisson Blu is a very nice hotel but if you are planning to receive the WG there, you ought to meet her at the lobby. The lift operates with your key card. The lobby is large therefore it is unlikely to draw attention but if it is late evening when fewer people are likely to be in the lobby, there will be security guys hanging around near the lifts.
