A few words on Mamaia: Beware of hotels, most dating from the time of communism and are relatively dilapidated. Prefer the "Rex", "Mamaia" or "Palm Beach" plus a few other exceptions (about 130- 200 Euros per night in season). Beach with its great clubs such as "St. Tropez", some full of pretty girls, but again, the girls are not waiting for you, the guys of the local mafia have much, much more money than you. Forget it!

Had gone to Bucharest last week and happened to stay in the Radison SAS which is a stone's throw away from Hilton.

Didn't do much on the first few days but on the last day strayed around the hotel. Basically from Radison, the Romana underground is about 10 minutes walk. Once there at about 10: 30. 11ish many many brokers and girls approached me. Mainly in the road that is right opposite mac donalds once you cross the lights you just walk about 10 minutes from there straight down to reach radison.
