I'm planning on visiting Bucharest for the first time mid November for a weekend of fun. From what I've read I should try and get some local bloke with Uber to be my personal taxi man, but I'm unsure if he'll also be able to advise me on some good spots or if I'll get scammed. I'm going to try and go with an open mind that not everyone there is going to try and hustle me or pick my pocket but I'm not the most trusting to begin with anyway and can smell a con from a mile off. I'll probably avoid going on late night walkabouts too even do I do it all the time other places.

I'll be meeting one other bloke for a drink or two while there but apart from him, I know squat about this city and know nobody else, in case someone is willing to meet up. I'm 30 y/ o. I've heard Romanian chicks like men with beards and I'm sporting one too now, although as I'm only really planning on paying for it, they won't care either way.

Some good (and cheap) places to eat would be welcome too.

You must know this already. Radisson Blu is a very nice hotel but if you are planning to receive the WG there, you ought to meet her at the lobby. The lift operates with your key card. The lobby is large therefore it is unlikely to draw attention but if it is late evening when fewer people are likely to be in the lobby, there will be security guys hanging around near the lifts.

I read in this forum and elsewhere that Damedelux is reliable and use only WGs with verified pics. They even state whether the boobs are natural or not. I met a girl through this agency for 500 RON (around 100 Euros.) for her to come to radisson blu and it was a great experience. Luxury Escorts is another one which is also supposed to be reliable. Expensive and Filled with Conartitst. All the good girls have left and now you are left with the worse of the worse. Also the police have been cracking down, and so less people working. It is illegal in Romania and so you won't see a lot of SW. You will see a few but nothing really hot.

Bucharest is pretty much filled with thieves and scam artist. Taxi drivers will try to rip you off. When you give them a 100 they will say you gave them a 10. Be very careful and make a big deal about giving them the money. Also the meters are rigged.

There are probably 4 major casa and they all ask for about 400 Lei and SW asked for 200. None of the girls are very attractive. Decent but not hot.

The SW, gypsies, will always have some scam. Also you will definitely have a problem or something will be coming missing.

It like all the people here are poor and miserable and feel that you are here to take advantage of them so they are going to take advantage of you. Some truth in it. Its like, they are saying you are not going to f me. I am going to f you.

Since the price is about $100 Euros you would just be better off skipping Bucharest. The others cities are cheaper but not very interesting and not worth the 2 to 4 hour drive. In Shighsioria the taxi drivers will try to offer you girls for 25 Euro. That's cheap but the city is so boring that after a day you will have nothing to do.

Just to chime in on monger-friendly hotels, I am at the Intercontinental and it's a big lobby with no card control on the lifts. So should be easy in for a WG. I may take a walk to Calea Victoriei later to see if any of the street girls are out and about. Because the ads seem like they are all scams. Have sent a few text messages to no reply. For all the massage parlors it seems hard to get (reliably) laid here.
