I saw Vilking 30 report on Buzau. Very Good!
Since I am older (45) the dancing scene is not suited for me.
Does anyone have a phone number of a woman in Buzau so I can directly invite her to my hotel room?
Or where should I go?
Thanks for your help.
Will report if anything comes my way.

What kind of clubs are these clubs? They seem to be MUSIC-CLUBS, can I find prostitutes there? And what about the "special rooms" in these clubs?

I can't reply in private since I am not a full member...but just to say.
Sounds very like my experiences in Galati, where I spent a few days recently, and will spend a few months soon.
The only main difference is that Galati IS a University town, and full of attractive amateurs as you can see from my posting in the photo section.
Very convenient for both Ukraine and Moldova, too.

Having been an avid reader of this forum for a few years now I thought it was about time I made a small contribution, so here is a brief report from part of rural Romania.
I spent a total of 9 months in Romania working for an international organisation which gave me a unique insight into the (mis)fortunes of contemporary Romanian soceity as well as the rapidly changing girl-scene.
I spent 6 months in Buzau and let me start by saying that Buzau is most definitely not a mongers heaven, at least not on short-term. As everywhere else on the planet long-term conditions are radically different. Buzau is a typical laid-back and slow-paced post-communist industrial town with not much to offer. People are nice, but in terms of recreational activities, better go somewhere else, except, of course, for the posh Olympic swimming arena built by Ceausescu in anticipation of hosting the Games.
In case you find yourself in Buzau and need to spend a few hours, maybe with a date, you basically have three options to go somewhere nice to get an almost-Western quality and service. The first restaurant is called La Marina and is basically a rural-Romanian upscale pizzaria where the young and rich hang out flashing their new cell phones desperate to see and be seen. The second option, and in my opinion the best place, is restaurant Pik-Nik. Despite the fact that “Pik” means “dick” in a Scandinavian language the place is not an erotic joint but the classiest place in town. It can be difficult to spot from the outside, so unless you go with a local do take a taxi…they are dirt cheap and plentyful. However, once you get inside you will find a very beautyful and atmospheric restaurant with a traditional Romanian interior design. The food is excellent and the waiters are fast and very service-orientated…a very rare thing in Romania indeed. Prices range between 20 – 50 RON for a typical meal. The third option is a place called Dominos, also a pizzaria and also acceptable price and quality.
And of course you can also go to McDonalds.
There is not a single brothel in town. A few streetwalkers hang around the railway station and on the outskirts of town, and when they are not servicing the local law enforcement agents for free you can try your luck. The quality ranges from 2 – to the rare 5. Approach at your own peril, you can get a disease just from looking at them.
There are, however, two strip clubs in town. The first one is located in the basement of a building directly opposite the railway station but I haven’t been there so can’t comment on the quality. The second one is a villa located on the left hand side about 200 m. down the main road also opposite the railway station. This club is gypsi-owned but if you didn’t know this beforehand I doubt you would ever notice. There were 4 -5 girls and ranged from 7 to a solid 9.5 when I was there. Ladies drinks were around 30 RON
The few times I was there the girls were always in a good mood, eager to please and very open-minded, meaning you basically do with them what you want, have them sit on your lap, get them topless, get them to simulate coitus etc. but you must be in charge to do this...they will not do it on their own, rather they will obey your every command…well almost. Most of them are also available to take out, but don’t take them out from the club. Instead, ask them for their mobil number and arrange to call them the next day in the afternoon. That way they can sleep and go with you before they have to go to work again. I asked an 18-year old with firm C-cups about prices, she didn’t quote me a price, instead she asked me how much I was willing to pay and when I suggested 100 RON she immediately agreed…I probably could have negotiated the price lower, but she was really worth it. I probably should also mention that I speak fairly good Romanian, something that in itself drives prices down.
There are three discos that I know of and a few bars around town. One is located right next to Dominos and is an ok place with a relatively young crowd. Another disco is located in the parc (I forget the name) and is also an ok place. The third one is on the main road towards the parc.
A few words of wisdom when going out in Buzau…in general there are many very young girls (under 18s) so do be careful. This is mainly because Buzau is not a university town, so most girls above 18 years have gone elsewhere to study, and the ones that stay home are those too poor or not smart enough to go to university and they quickly get married or have a steady boyfriend since noone can afford to live alone. Also beware of gypsies! Buzau has an above-average gypsi population, so watch your pockets at all times.
As can probably be imagined I spent a lot of my free-time on the go, in Bucharest, Bacau, Suceava and Iasi visiting girlfriends. I also went a few times to Chisinau, but those exploits belong in another forum. What I can say though, is that if you are looking for a cheap trip to Moldova, you can take the Bucharest-Chisinau train. Officially you can only get onboard in Bucharest and Iasi since no other station on the route sells international tickets. What you can do, is attempt to board the train while it stops in any of the towns on the route. There will be one or two doors open which are both guarded by a member of the staff and when you then try to board the train they will stop you and ask you where you are going. Say the magic word “Chisinau” and they will even carry your luggage for you. Once on the train you buy a discounted ticket with which you support the life and well-being of the underpaid staff. From Buzau I paid 50 RON. The train leaves daily and only rarely is the train full, so most likely you will get a single compartment or maybe even share one with one or two girls returning from Bucharest where they work. Regardless of whom you might end up sharing the compartment with you have a unique opportunity to make invaluable local friends! One word of caution regarding the toilets: the toilets are locked about 45 min. before reaching the border and are not opened again until you have passed the Moldovan border at Ungheni several hours later. And remember, Ungheni is the only border-crossing with Romania where you CANNOT get a visa! This makes perfect sense, why offer visas at border-crossing where most foreigners enter from? Whatever they do, they must not make it easy for foreigners to throw euros at the poorest country in Europe!
As a final note I can confirm that indeed there are many desert roses out there in rural Romania, but the time and effort needed to bed them makes it a bad investment for a short-term visitor.
Any questions just PM me. I go to Romania on a semi-regular basis and when time permits it also to Moldova.

Last year I spent some days in the city of Sibiu. The last day a friend of mine took me to a niteclub near the station, he told me that there are about 10 stripbars in this town. We watched a nice striptease. One girl allowed us to play with her pussy... The girl asked us if we would like to take them to our hotel (asking price was 100€), but we had to refuse, because we had to get up very early.
Soon I'll return to Sibiu. Does anybody know, if the bars in Sibiu or in other Romanian towns have special rooms for our hobby or if it's necessary to have a hotel room?

Dear Crazy Castel,
You were in probably the best little Romanian town on the Danube. I have been off and on to that place and also connected with the steel works. Even though my information is a little dated, it never the less holds good for Romanian chicks in general and the town in question, particularly.
The water front is not just scenic, but always full of girls walking up and down. You do not even have to look for commercial sex because there is plenty available on the house. Walk into any shop to seek assistance from their ever-willing assistants. The safest formula is to ask the girl ofyour choice, to dinner. She will suggest a good place, the menu, and the subsequent agenda.
I cannot remember any names of hotels/ bars off hand, but I never had trouble taking a lady off the street, for a drink or dinner. She does not even need to speak English because she will invariably organise to take you to her place (if you do not indicate your own hotel room). Some of these girls can really drink you under the table, so beware. I always prefer to stash a bottle of local Vodka (or some strong Russian stuff) in my room as this usually proves a saviour during their cold winters.
If you travel down-river towards Constanta, you would come to a lovely U-bend in the waterway at a village called Varna. Boy, these people sure know how to look after visitiros and all it takes is a bottle of Vodka shared around.
Tell us more about your times spent at Galati, as it does rake up pleasant memories.
Good Luck!

Please give detailed information on where and how to meet girls like the model-quality girls that you often post pictures of (especially the students). I will be going to Romania for 3 months (maximum length of stay of tourist visa). Which places should I go to? How should I approach ther girls? What should I say? I will even learn a little Romanian if necessary. Thanks.
Disco Hazienda in Brasov. There have been some working girls while my last visit some month ago. They charge 50 Euro for 2-3 hours. But have not been so super beautiful.

Just returned from three weeks in Romania. While there I was taken out to the Night Club Elite in Pitesti. About 6-8 girls were working the small club on all three nights I went. A couple of the girls spoke English and were hot. I can't speak for the service without a Romanian present, but what I got with my friend is worth a report. For 200 Ron you get a hour upstairs in the club with one girl and whatever happens is between you and her. I had a great time with four separate girls (I took two in one night.) I totally recomend hooking up with a Romanian friend and hitting up this club (if you don't speak Romanian.) We hit up three other Strip/Night Clubs in Pitesti while there and none of them offered this service. However, I was offered by several other girls working in other clubs to meet after work (usually around 0400) and hit up a hotel. Hope this info helps any of you travelers.
Peace
