I've been with a friend of mine to Mamaia beginning of August. We stayed at the Riviera hotel - quite in the center.

On the last day of our stay we took the stairs up to the 9th floor as the elevators were extremely crowded. In the middle of our way up we've passed two girls - and as we are friendly people greated them of course.

They immediately offered us sex and it seemed like they were just waiting there for some business passing bye.

Although I have been quite in the mood my friend destroyed all hopes as only one of the two girls looked 'acceptable'.

So next time you are staying at Mamaia: Don't use the elevators and keep your eyes open!

you are lying about hitchhike girls...or maybe you are overlooking something: did you show her something before your visit to her brother home - for ex. a big d#?

i just came back from a car travel trough romania the third time. i cannot find it too difficult or risky to drive around unless you have a posh car or are careless driver (but perhaps i am careless for my car myself).

i havent been to mamaia, but last year to moldova region. although i cannot confirm, it is said that women there can be rented by days or weeks for very few money.

the only visible prostitution are streetwalkers on major roads bypassing or leading out of cities. i have seen them in oradea, arad, bucuresti mainly at night. these girls are generally gypsies and they service truck driver. i had mixed experiences with them.
generally if you stare and glimpse to a gypsy girl she will know what you want and if she is interested you can score.

do not think that all women standing at the roads are sw though, as many women hitchhike regularly.
once i took a nice women with a violin who was visiting their parents and she invited me to her brother`s home as she coulnt bring me to her place. after some days she wrote sms and wanted to see me an we had some wonderful days in the hotel... no money involved. this is typical for romania as you never know what is happening but the dozen other girls on the thousands of km where just not interested.

in a town between bucuresti ans constanza, the police came and took my id as i was talking to an probably ****d girl, they said that they got a phone call that a foreigner is talking to her. so be discrete and believe the girls if they want to leave the place.

When are you thinking about going? Constanta/Mamaia is the major resort in the country so many, many Romanians go there over June-August. This means that getting a hotel there might be a bit harder than you imagine (or the price will be greater than you expect), but also that you should have no problem picking up regular girls who just want a bit of holiday fun.

Romanian is very similar to Italian, so if you speak this you should be able to understand Romanian ok after you get accustomed to pronounciation and accent. Most girls will also speak some combination of English / Italian / Spanish / French / German, so you can usually find a way of speaking with them. Having a few Romanian phrases is no bad thing however.

Driving in Romanian can be hazardous but this, I think, is more a matter of style and skill rather than you being targeted for being in a foreign car. A flash foreign car may attract attention so might be best to rent one in RO if you are planning to travel around.

Probably best to stay away from Moldova however. the political situation there is a bit dodgy right now, so unless you know people there I would not recommend it.

I have been reading the Romania and Moldava forum and based on what I have seen, I am quite interested to make a trip to Romania and/ or Modavia. Because for me, quite frankly, the women are really attractive.

I would consider driving just ot have my own car there, has anyone done this?
What is your expierience? Are the highways safe? Will you get robbed or your car stolen?

I am trying to optimize my resources and time for such a trip and it seems that Constanza is most likely the easiest place to go to, because there are many Charter - Lastminute offers going there, from all over Europe. Currently it would be possible make the trip for about 200 Euros for 7 Days including the Hotel and the Flight from Major Airports in Central Europe (lastminute travel).

However, the reviews I have read about Constanza are very mixed to negative.

To pick up Girls at the Hotel Bar in a major Destination is always a very bad option everywhere in the World. I also dislike strip-joints and "high-end" Discos for the same reason.

I think a good thing would be to rent a Vehicle and drive into the land for some Miles, away from the tourist traps and do some hunting using Newspaper Adds and other creative sources.

Has anyone tried this? Any advice or tips would be much appreciated.

I am also looking for a crash course in Romanian (any tips would be appreciated), its a very latino language it seems very intuitive to me. It would significantly increase the batting average with Romanian women if you can lay the rap on them in their native language.

You have to try Crazy Horse. Quality is pretty low elsewhere, and be aware on the streets, is not advisable to try.

I was there last summer.

I work with IT and we did some job for a local steel factory owned by a rich Indian guy (recently famous as he bought a hudge house in London).

Sorry I do not have any contacts at moment, but if you go there you will surely not regret it.

As far as you show to be decent and pretend to have a lot of many and "world" a lot of chicks will stick to you.

My suggestion is to avoid dating the same girl for too many days or they will think it is something serious, will invite you to their house, introduce you to their fathers, make plans to visit your homeland, etc.

It is better to say from the beginning that you want just an adventure, they will understand and as far as you are nice with them, invite them for a drink etc, you will be fine and have a lot of good times.

There are a couple of good hotels in Galati (good to Moldovia border town level), one of them is besides the river and very close to where the action is.

I think you do not need reservations and the rates are quite low compared with Eu standards.

My best experiences have been a dead town called Galati.

When you get there you will think "what the heck I am doing here", but in evenings and night if you go to bars and some spots besides the danubius you will surely get a lot of free of charge GFE.

Since this town is border with Moldovia you get a lot of blond chicks and not so many gypsy looking girls.

I had a great time then you can go further south to Constansa a nice beach town with a lot of action specially if you have a nice motorbike you will have plenty of nice chicks to choose from without spending a cent.
