I am on my second business trip to Moscow and do not speak any Russian at all. In my hotel (Korston) there is a "911 Men's club". I read here that you can definitely find ladies in the hotel and in the club to have sex with, but is there a lot of pressure to do so? I'm not ready to dive all the way in but I'd love to have a beer and watch some beautiful ladies, maybe even a lapdance. But not all the way.

Will I be laughed out of the place? Will they deal with me since I only speak English?

Don't worry about the pressure.

Clubs in Moscow tend not to be very high pressure when it comes to table dances or sex. Just have fun and relax.

Korston is decent. You can also try Aurora 911 on Petrovka or Penthouse Club at 21 Novy Arbat. I am in Moscow now so send a PM if you need any more info.

Have fun and don't worry about the English. The Russian word for beer is "Piva". After that you are good.

Depends, what are you looking for? If you have a little imagination and some creativity and resourcefulness and are able to overcome the barriers to entry; visa, expense, language & culture, then Russia can be a wonderful place to monger. Based on your attitude so far, I would recommend that you stay away.

The only reason Putin proposed dropping visa requirements with the USA is precisely because he knows the USA will not agree. So, Biden looks like a fool, Putin has lost nothing and looks like a masterful diplomat. It's really that simple.

If Biden had been smart, he would have called Putin's bluff and said, "Sure thing Vova, let's do it!"

I imagine Putin was just PO'd because the U.S. sent it's No. 2 man to meet with him.

Well, that's certainly the typical Western jingoistic attitude, but I doubt if Vladimir Vladimirovich believes that. Twenty years ago, there was some truth to that statement, but those were desperate times. I hate to burst your bubble Mr. Darcy, but relocating to the USA is not the obvious choice that it used to be for most Russian woman today. They have jobs and families and homes and too many other reasons to stay in their homeland, unless of course, they are presented with such an advantageous offer that they simply can't refuse. So, no, lifting the visa restrictions would not result in a mass migration of Russians to the USA. Mainly because neither the USA nor the RF have any real desire to do that.

You know, whenever someone in the government does, or wants to do or try something, always look at the reasons that aren't so obvious, and always follow the money.

Like maybe Pooty thinks this will allow easier access for chechen radicals tied to Al Qaida to slip in to America, and deflect some of his problems to US security? Contrary to what the piece says, this isn't the first time the Russians are proposing this. It's been around since Yeltsin's time, and was rejected by US each time, and will be again.

Putin's proposal strikes me as odd because he's been telling Russians about the danger of population decline in Russia and encouraging them to have more babies. Putin surely knows that if the US waives visa restrictions for Russian citizens, all the single, child bearing aged women will hop on the first plane to US. This certainly isn't going to help Russia's population problem. I wonder why Putin wanted visa restrictions waived.
