I am also looking for stand in line salons in the style of the hidden backyard salons of St. Petersburg here in Moscow. I am back in Russia for some weeks after a long time. What I already understood it that Ego Gold at the Garden Ring closed. I didn't like them anyways.

In Peter I had no difficulty to find such sex salons. I love old school salons with mamasan & Co.

Off the train in Moscow in the coming days. I don't know what others have experienced but as far as travel diversions in the world, I'the highly recommend the Trans-Siberian Rail trip. Quite a continent even if it's a long trip.

I'm wondering as I pull into Moscow what expat bars people would recommend and if there are any zones of cheap but comfortable places to stay for 30 day type stretches?

Any thoughts would be welcome.
