Yes, language is very powerful. Your instinct was correct, when you observed that her English improved back at the apartment. Very few Russians speak English. So when you meet a girl who speaks English, at least well enough to engage in a business negotiation with a native speaker, it's probably because she's spent a lot of time hanging out with foreign tourists. And that kind of familiarity can breed a lot of contempt.

The best test of whether or not her promises are real is to tell her that you will pay in the morning, when she leaves. This is what most local guys expect, and this has been my experience with local girls, the ones who don't speak English. If she suddenly loses interest, then it's probably best to move on, regardless of how "hot" she may seem. Of course, you can take consolation in the fact that, no matter how gorgeous any Russki dyev might seem at the time, you can be sure there's at least a dozen more waiting for you someplace else. But if you don't have the self control to walk away (as I do not on occasion), then it's probably best to approach NF as Odysseus might have. Ask your friends to strap you to the mast and plug your ears with wax, so that you won't be able to hear the siren's song.

I agree that reporting bad service to the management at NF is the best solution. They know who their customers are and they know they won't be coming back if the girls are taking advantage of them. But, then, as you say, some guy's in town for a couple nights, and may never be back again. Who wants the hassle?

So, this is a dilemma. How does a guy, who doesn't speak any Russian, stay away from the tourist traps and still enjoy himself in Moscow? Without getting ripped off?

There's a very high percentage of guys in NF who speak no Russian at all and are first timers to Moscow. My BIGGEST regret was that I didn't march her back to NF and rat her out to management. I have heard that if you complain about a girl to NF management, there's a pretty good chance she will be barred from future entry.

But clearly, I digress. Just "DO NOT TAKE A GIRL OUT OF NF". There is a better than 60:40 chance that YOU WILL BE SORRY.

That's as much as I will reveal. The building used to have a travel agency office on the ground floor, which is the easiest way to find it. You can also reach it by walking through the arch on Strastnoy and through the dvor. If all else fails, just call them and they will send someone to fetch you (really).

It is, literally, right across Tverskaya from Night Flight. So, have dinner at NF, flirt with all the beautiful dyeffki there, for as long as you can stand it, and then pop across the street for your happy ending, for a fraction of the price. Although 4000r is a little pricey, but still worth it.

You need to call them when you're nearby (outside Etazh, for example) and they'll pick you up.

Thanks for great advice! I'm one who usually prefers quality to quantity. I'd rather have one great $300 fuck than three mediocre $100 ones. Of course, by then I may be well spent, since it's a layover on my way back from porn shooting in St. Petersburg.

In fact, if your budget cane handle it go there for dinner (reservation recommended) about 9:00 PM - 9:30 PM and get a table right at the top of the stairs so that you can get a good view of the "parade" of hardened pros who come to check out who's in the restaurant. The food is great and the scenery is better. After dinner go downstairs (no need to pay the cover charge now) and check out the action. But DO NOT EVEN THINK about leaving with one of the girls. Great suggestions, Jake, though I'd say you're only half right on NF. I agree that most girls there ARE "hardened pros" as you say, though if you're lucky you can find a girl who's new to the biz and still enjoys sex. That said, I haven't been since late '06, when they were asking for 4 bens LT and you could usually talk them down to 3. From this weekend's experience on Yaroslavka (main tochka drag north of the city), you can't even pick up tochka trash for that amount anymore. Because of the way my flights from St. Petersburg work, I have a single night layover in Moscow from roughly 14:00 to 10:00 the next day. I won't have much time to scope out the area and I've never been to Moscow before.

If you had one and only one night what would you do for mongering?

Since I don't have much time, I'm thinking I should go to a place with high selection/high quality. Is NightFlight such a place, or is it all hype? Do I hire a reliable driver with references from this board and ask him to drive me to a tochka?
