One of my favorite shows on the Russkii televisor is called такси (taxi). It's a kind of game show that takes place in a taxi. The host of the show is the driver and he picks up fares around Moscow. When he first stops to pick up someone, he has to pretend that he's a real taxi, so he goes through the process of agreeing on a fare. I love listening to how the native Muscovites haggle over 50 rubles, they are the masters of this.

On a clear, bright summer day, a native Muscovite would never pay more than 100 rubles for taxi fare within the Sadovaya. Maybe 200, if travelling all the way from one end to the other. Maximum 300 rubles beyond the Sadovaya.

Pizdyets' negotiating skills are much better than mine, mainly because I'm just too lazy to argue over an extra 100 rubles. So I pay 200/300/400. Unless, of course, it's midnight, in the middle of February and it's -30 and I'm standing in a foot of snow, then I might go to 500.

If you are only in town for a few days, don't speak Russian, have no idea where you are, or where you are going, then you will have to pay a big tourist premium. But paying a Moscow taxi driver 1,000 rubles for a short trip, really is just plain stupidity. All it will do is reinforce the idea in his mind that tourists will pay whatever he asks, and then guys like Pizdyets and myself will have to dis-abuse him of this notion all over again.

If a taxist in Moscow asks you for more than 500 rubles to go anywhere, just walk. Remember, every car in Moscow is a potential taxi and if one doesn't want your fare, it is almost certain that someone else will.

Also, I never ever ever pay more than 200 rubles for moving within the Garden Ring. And I might note that my Russian colleagues consider me to be a "weak" negotiator when it comes to taxis. 300 rubles is highway robbery and 1000 rubles is just plain stupid.

Of course you're talking about travel in Moscow during evening hours - right? I have found the that the fare DECIDEDLY goes up when the traffic gets bad. I was traveling from The Crown plaza to Night Flight with two Moscow First Timers in June. It was a Tuesday night at 9:00 PM, it had rained and the traffic was horrible. I was going to offer 300 Rubles just cause I didn't want to screw around. But still it took three gypsy cabs before one would accept the deal.

Toto - this is NOT how it works here. You negotiate a fare in advance, and that's the price. Period. If the taxist tries to extract more once you get to your destination, you wad up the money you'd agreed to and throw it in his face, rather than politely handing it to him.

I found that most of this weekend tochkas are hanging at the roads leading north and east out of Moscow. On the roads in front of towns Klin, Sergiev Posad, Pavlovski Posad, Kolomna. This roads have big traffic so most probbly this is the reason. Doubt they are around vokzals and prospekts since this places are already occupied.
They turn into ho's much before they set foot on the train to Moscow and the moment they arrive in Moscow. They set their minds when they are at the end of high school at the age 17-18. Usually girls talk among them selves about some friend, relative or some girl from their apartment building having nice money, clothes, jewelry from this "weekend" job. Usually it's the girl which already have experience in this who brings new ones to Moscow.
The commuter train to Moscow is usually elektricka without compartments, it's platzkartni. Getting laid coming and going can be tricky since along the girls comes some number of off duty cops acting as protection for a fee in the form of money or sex.

you didn't happen to find out where these weekend tochkas are located, did you? maybe near some vokzal, or on the prospekt? or are they just rep001tered randomly around the city?

can't help but wonder at exactly what point these proper young future wives blossom into ho's; does this happen the moment they set foot on the train to moscow? or the moment they arrive in moscow? it might be fun to have a private 1st class compartment on that commuter train to mockvy. you could get laid coming and going.

Not to be overly critical, but you made your club visit much more expensive than it had to be.

Taxis don't cost 1000 rubels. You can rent taxis for 500 rubels/hour! Anywhere within garden ring should be no more than 300 rubels.

Don't pay anything in US$ or €, you'll lose almost every time. Pay in rubels.

Exception would be when pay a large sum to a pro, but make sure you use the real exchange rate. Generally speaking though, it's best to pay in the local currency.

Why tip 500 rubels? You can get away with 100 rubels.

Well, I just wanted to ad to my report. Bordo is certainly not a ripp off place, albeit it can be quite expensive.

Anyways, I am unexperienced to Moscow, do not speak one word Russian and I have been staying for 3 nights in a good hotel. You will always have to pay more in this case. My experience with taxi drivers is interesting. Although 500 Rb seems to be the going rate in moscow and it might pay off to pick some random driver from the street, my cheapest ride was with a limousine waiting in front of the hotel that first night. This guy asked 800 Rb, but he was able to bring me to Bordo right away. Actually, the next day I tried to be smarter and picked up a normal Taxi (but Taxi) from the street. I asked him to bring me to 911 Vip strip club, due to the good reports here. The driver actually agreed on 500 rb. Well, to make a long story short. After one hour drive through moscow this guy did not find the club. He finally stopped in one street and told me the club was in the backyard. I told him to wait, I was sceptic and had a look. Sure enough, when I returned he was gone. I had to pick another cab. This guy pretended he would know the club. He was aswell driving around and did not find it. Finally he put me off at Secret service. Because it took him aswell at least 45 minutes, he now insisted on 1000 Rb, which I had to give him. Secret Service actually is not that bad, but a little bit traditional Russian touch. About 30 girls, only 3 men. Cover charge 1000 Rb. Some stunners but I could not stand the Russian music there.

So I hooked up with the other two guys. They were german but spoke fluent Russian. I recommended to go to Bordo. These guys stopped a random car on the street and negotiated some super hot price (300 Rb) to go to Bordo.

We spend about 1 hr in the car trying to find Bordo. It was quite embarassing, since the driver stopped at every young couple to ask for the way *LOL. Anyhow, we already wanted to give up, when we finally made it. In the end we had to pay 1000 rb aswell.

When you come as business traveler, the time is limited and you probably only have one or two nights. In this time you want to find the super hot girl with super hot body, young, that is fun to be with and will give you a good time. Chances are, you come in a club and this one chick is occupied with some other customer (happened to me in Bordo's, so I stayed with the second hot which did not have sex on her menue and had a micky mouse voice, I am not sure if she actually hears something). With this ambition and limited time, you may always have to pay more for taxis and other services compared to frequent travelers that know the market and where they would want to go to.

All together, my moscow experience was very well. I would not want to miss it and will go again on other occasion. Nevertheless, since moscow is such a big city I somewhat had expected the clubs (Bordo's, Night Flight) to be much bigger. Sort of size of Help Disco in Rio.

There have been not more than 20 girls and 5-10 men in either of the above mentioned clubs this weekend.

I did some sightseeing at Kreml as well and my impression is that it would be very easy to chat up regular girls there. The selection on the streets is incredible and a lot better then on Mamba.! Perhaps I will try my luck at day time on my next trip as well.

I would recommend this place for mongers who doesn't speak too much russian, as the entrance is very simple to find (it is in the street, not in the garden), code is only 1 figure (they know how to say it in english).

As I am a newbie in this forum (I am a regular in one of the German forums, based in Frankfurt and mostly active in the Oase Club near Frankfurt), I apologize if this post is against forum rules, but Passepartout, would it be possible if you posted the adress of the saloon? Rusodug itself does not seem to have that information, and being challenged in the Russian language, I am a bit afraid at the moment, to call the saloon for their adress.

New type of tochka. I was staying in Tula with family this summer. Daughter of the family is married and she asked me to accompany her to train station to wait for her husband returning from Moscow. It was Friday afternoon around 5PM. I noticed maybe 200 girls hanging around the station. Asked my friend "What is this" and she replied "road hookers going to Moscow for a weekend". She explained me that almost in every city around Moscow at Friday afternoon girls pack in trains and go to Moscow for tochka job. They stay there for a weekend and return to their homes Monday morning. So I watched. All those girl packed into the train leaving for Moscow at 6PM. My friend spoke few words with one nice looking girl before she boarded the train. I asked hew who is she, and got the answer they went to high school together and "tochka" is her weekend job. I commented when she's back I'll hit on her. My friend told me not to bother because all those girls are honest and hard to get when they are home. When train arrives to Moscow in 2-3 hours probably all those girls park near some road. Where they sleep I don't know but a cop in Moscow told me there are fights between local, established, or what ever tochkas and those "weekend" for a good spot. Massive fights with tens of girls from both sides. Anyway I figured those girls on return must come with one of the early morning trains from Moscow. So I was at the Tula train station around 8AM when train from Moscow arrived and there they were. Many of them got into the buses driving workers to TOZ (arms factory) so I guess most of those girls went straight to their work there and other places, schools, etc after returning from Moscow. On the train station I noticed also a girl I saw Friday afternoon.
Two days latter I found her in a club so went directly on her. She was like untouchable saying she's serious and interested in marriage only. I told her I know what she's doing at the weekend. Her reply was "so what, it doesn't mean I'm easy to get ho". Oh well what ever. People told me many of those girls often find their husbands in Moscow. Among their customers or not don't know. Also in Tula (and in many other cities probably) this weekend tochkas are no big deal, everybody knows about them. The reasoning is they will get money, get "wild" while they are young and later they will be good wives. Another proof that prostitution in Russia is socially quite accepted.

On my Way out of town, going to a party in Korelov, my Taxi driver commented about the Tochka's we were driving past.

Small Mini vans, opened up their doors, and several girls climbed out, they looked decent enough from the distance I was at, and the Taxi driver told me, that the girls there would cost 7000 rubles for the night.

I probably spotted 100 girls on that 2-3km stretch outside the MKAD. Who knows how many more were hiding. The Taxi driver and I conversed about the state of moscow that such girls needed to do such things, He told me, its just like marriage. Hmmm

Try Aurora, I took some OS clients there from time to time,

Its central, should not cost more than 500 rubles to get to and from, dont pay any more.

1k rubs entrance, but you get a fairly decent display of the girls, as the 30-40 girls all get up on stage from time to time for a free for all, fully nude show.

100rubs to send a girl away, 200 to keep her for a few minutes, 500 if you really like her nd want to buy a drink so she's stay and chat.

Some girls only dance, some girls fk, 1k rubs for a dance, 10k rubs for a fk. fairly inexpensive.

I guess I'm just lucky, or maybe this will work for you too. Pick out a girl that you really like, bring her over for a dance, see how she smiles.. if she's smiling like its a photo pose, then you're unlikely to get any further, but if she smiles cause shes into you.. this is the girl you want.

These girls, tend to give up far more than they should.. which is exactly why I like them, I got one of the girls, who only strips, to faceplant me for an extra song, I had three fingers in her, and had her coming by the end of the 3rd song. she told me.. second toilet to the left, 5 minutes, and sure enough a small knock at my toilet door and she bangs me like crazy. cost : 500rybs for the drink, 3000rybs for the 3 songs.. toilet: priceless

Another time, one girl I'm VERY much into, who lets me eat her out,likes to dress in a Bavarian costume, The first time I had her strip for me, she got so wet, I asked for a second song and ate her out, gawd she tasted good. She doesn't go any further, but her friend came and fucked me crazy..

I suggest though, you wait till around 3am-4am to fk a girl, as they tend to close at 5/6am and the likely hood she's get a second client in that time is null. I have been to Bordo yesterday and the day before. The club is quite nice. But to be honest, it did not quite meet my expectations after reading the posts here. I must admit it was a Saturday and Sunday, though. Around 20 girls. All nice looking. However perhas 3 of them in the 9/10 range. All others 7 to 8. 1.000 Rubel cover charge. The taxi driver usually also wants 1.000 to get you there and there will be another 1000 to get you back home. Which is already 100 USD just to get startet. The girls would come to your chair and dance a little. They expect to be tipped with 500 Rubel each time. However, I recognised other guys would give them 200 and they are happy aswell.

I actually invited one girl for several drinks, which is something like 1300 Rubel per drink and keeps the girl a while with you. Actually this can be a lot cheaper then tipping dozens of girls inbetween.

Private dances have been offered to me. The going rate was 100 US $ for 15 min full naked dance in some private room. For the room there was a rent to be payed, which was something like 25 US $.

I would say that the dancing girls and the general club atmosphere (light, music etc) were nice and appealing, the staff however appeared to be very annoyed. Probably because I kept paying in US Dollars.

After having experience with the German FKK scene, I must say it is no comparison at all and my expectations that I would see super top models with unforgetable breasts have not been met *LOL. Perhaps my fantasies have been to high.
