Russian Air Transport systems is undergoing a modernization. By the way with rebulinding the DME airport (nearly finished and the SVO 1 and SVO 2 airports (to different airports with several terminals if you say it properly) the runways are in common. The Russian fleet (not Aeroflot only) will grow to be the 6th in the world before Sochi 2014.
Most of the west european or former east european companies fly now to DME (Domodedovo) like OS, LH, SK, also United from/to USA is flying there... lets' say Star Alliance, others, and most of the national (non Aeroflot) airlines. Aeroflot and some Skyteam (AZ, AF, etc) are flying to SVO 1 for national 2 for international, but they are building SVO 3. Thre is no fast connection system between the airports (these are not terminals! the terminals are with the letter system inside the SVO 2 for ex. right or left when you get inside the departure lounge).
The only real problem in using one or the other is simply if you are staying in Moscow or travelling elswhere. You should try to arrive in the airport where you have the connection. Getting by car (or BUS) from SVO to DME or viceversa might be a nightmare on ground of traffic.
Despite you are checked to final destination (and your luggage too) if yoy fly Aeroflot you should allow three hours for a transfer inside SVO (national/international or viceversa) This on ground the passport control is done in SVO 2.
Safest way of transfert between SVO and DME is a stopover in Moscow! Or using the train and the metro .
Once, when SVO 2 was practically the only international (non CIS) airport, I was nearly loosing the plane at DME having landed in SVO 2 six hours before departure!
Mind of the time, the controls, safety things and the fact that the shortest distance between SVO and DME is 71 km (travelling via the city) otherwise it's approx. 110 km. so it might take everything from one hour (motorway all the way) to 5/6 hours if traffic james...
Just my two cents

Most of the hotels will do it for free and on spot for the guests via the informatic system of OVIR, very simple takes just a minute or even less while they are making the magnetic key of the room and all the paperwork.
Safe and Simple. In Russia (like everywhere) it's easier to follow the rules.
It seems very strange what you say on Business Visa.... may be you have to change the agency!

Was going to walk onto Shandra, but decided to call it a night. I wish I went to Shandra first as I never did get there that month. I have fond memories of Shandra when it on that side street off lower Tverskaya. That was a great club. I've heard there new premises at north central Moscow are quite good. Has anyone been to the new Shandra? Do tell.
Might I make a complaint as well. Several times in that month I found myself being the only person in a club I. E. 10 – 15 girls and me, I can't cope with that, it's a little overwhelming for me. I mean is that something epresentative of my character? Being the only guy in a strip club)) How do you think that feels?
I went to a club, Chou Chou, was the only guy in the place, 900 rubs entrance, and found myself alone, 3 girls and the hostess. EEP? Sat down, first girl comes over. No english. Second girl, no english. I get the offisantka to talk to me. I ask. "the girls are going to just take off their tops, shake their bodies on stage, then come over to me and get me to give them a 200 ruble tip right? She affirms, to which I reply. Why don't we just get all the girls to take off their tops, sit with me for 15-20 minutes, I'll tip them all, and then choose one for a private dance? She agrees. Why not.
Then 6 more girls come from the back room. WTF, why not.
2000 rubles, and 30 minutes later, I'm liking their titties across one after the other. Things you'd never get to do.
Tall Blond with a Sexy ass from heaven is my choice, she takes me to the back room, 1500 rubles (1k for her 500 for the room) and she lets me jack onto her tits for a bonus 500.
Thats why being alone is worth it.
My next report will be on the amazing 911 Petrovka.

Probably, I should have tried long time, not shorts. But anyway its all about money.
By the way, in Moscow you can meet girls from Asian provinces of Russia (Kalmykia, Yakutia, Bashkiria). They look like "real asians", but their behaviour is usually similar to ethnic Russians.

Posts: 18Julia-Moscow A dangerous and mad one…. Be careful !
I got a very negative experience with this lady. I booked her for 2 hours, she came 1 hour later explaining that there are traffic jams, also there was quite a strong smell of alcohol from her.
From what I have see on the web-site I expected an ex-model, as she claims on the site, as the prices are quite high as well! May be once she really was a model, but what I got was hardly comparable to an ex-model, may be very ex ex ex, lets say a model 20 year later after hard drinking, taking drugs and hard work!
Watching the time nervously and speaking with the accent that I could hardly understand she behaved in a strange way. I guess there is something wrong with her head.
She was very nervous and there was a strange smell from her. As for the photos, may be many years ago she really looked like that, but what I Got was a 40 year old woman with a strange smell and behavior, very nervous and rude. I paid to her 400 euro for two hours as she insisted on taking the money at the beginning and when she entered she really resembled the photos. Actually I stayed less than one hour as my brother didn't even react to her body when she undressed, (gosh, better she wouldn't have done that!) when I asked for the money back, she got so mad that I decided to leave the things as they were

In Russia now, the registration process is very simple, you can register with a form at the Post Office. The catch is, you must have an "official" address in Moscow (or wherever you are staying). If you are staying in hotel, then you have an "official" address. But I have always stayed in apartments in Russia, with both tourist and business visas, and never had a problem to register.
To tell you the truth, most of the people who visit Russia never register. Particularly if they are coming from FSU and will only be in Moscow for a short stay (< week).

Posts: 1699Prosal also during my 2 months in Russia with obviously business visa, never had problem to be registered by the owner of the apt with or without small fee.
Again then I left Russia, I was not registered for all my 60 days, but something as 40 days, so they could argue where I was during the 20 days, more or less, when I was no registered at all, but no one problem and the policeman checked and opened almost all pages of my passport, maybe curious to see all the countrie I went.
I guess it is enough to be registered only the first day and then....when you remember LOL or something like that, cause I do not think I was "lucky" to have no problem, I think now they care much less than for example during my first time in 2004 when every policeman on the street seem to be looking for some "mistakes" in my visa.
Relax and enjoy the heaven without forget to report
