I was seeing myself heading to Night Flight last night to see why this place is so famous. Dining at the restaurant, food is OK, I'm not a picky eater but for those who expect more it would be a huge disappointment. Many of you have been to Club Petrovich. It's a private club that requires you to be "recommended" by two other members. This serves as a barrier to entry and keeps the riff raff (and foreigners) out. I was there Saturday night (Sunday morning) from 1 AM until about 4:30 AM. It was legendary. It seems we have many pessimists in our midsts. All, if you are willing to do a little work before you arrive and are not a total loser, Moscow is still a potential gold mine. Jake and others here can tell you, I am not at all pretty (and neither is he) but we do pretty well for ourselves. It takes a lot of work, but the reward of having very attractive girls in their 20s going after old men like us (40s and 50s) is still a very realistic goal. Keep the faith and do the work.

Hey! I AM pretty. (Ha, ha, NOT) I am in total agreement. You have to make an investment of time to get anything back. Moscow is a big city with all kinds of people. The problem with night flight is that many of the girls are brought there by the boyfriend. They are robotically programmed to get your money, have sex, and leave. It's an outrageous amount of money that will serve you no better than an FKK girl. This is really an option for the Russian guys that can stay in control and be very clear as to what they expect.

In the meantime I've been taking some Russian classes back in the west.

Rosetta Stone with a good verb book is dollar for dollar the best if you want to learn Russian. Don't go into a Russian class green, it's expensive and you will learn little.

I know you guys may excoriate me for posting this here and not in the internet dating thread, but there is not a lot of info there about using Mamba to hook up in Moscow. Most of the discussions are about using it in the provinces.

I've been on for about a week with very little success. I am chatting regularly with some girls but so far no one has agreed to meet up. (I did have one meeting lined up but the girl cancelled because she said she had a temperature. Yeah right!).

You probably read a few of my posts about mamba. The only advice I can give is that you will be rewarded for time and effort and more time and even more effort. It's probably easier in Moscow to find English speaking girls so mamba is not so essential, but out in the provinces it would have taken more wasted time trying to find these girls on street, bars, clubs. Then once you find one on mamba, you still need to take time and more time until they are willing.

My most successful place was a particular English language school for finding a classroom full of attractive girls who spoke English, and wanted some 'private' lessons. The only thing I can advise is to think outside the box. However, I've always found language classes full of girls and a good place to meet them with the exception of my Russian class now. It's just guys with the same motive as me. .

Learn some basic conversational phrases like,"How are you?","I am fine","What is you name?","Can I cum in your mouth?", (just joking)

Learn how to conjugate some basic verbs like,"I want", or "I need",

Learn how to count,

Learn to tell time,

And you're set.

This is a perfect example of what Gergiev said: you don't want to ever get too good at speaking Russian. If you speak the language perfectly, then you become just another Russian man, and there are plenty of those. You want to maintain an endearing kind of ineptness that elicits the sympathy of the dyevchyonki.

Guys you know I am not so good reading cyrillic. BTW stoppped studying Russian. Usually you have a great motivation when you already turn back from EE and after a time you loose it because you don't need it in your own country.
