The restaurant you mean is "BRON" at patriki by the Novikov Group?! Nice restaurant, they opened few years ago. For my pocket it's quite expensive. In the weekend is always full, specially in the evening. A small place. So, often people wait outside ha ha 'so where is the fucking crisis? I ask myself'. But the food is good. by the way Novikov has some good restaurants all over Russia. For chasing freebies the entire Patriki area is perfect, I think only New Arbat can beat it. But you have to dress up, it's high end area like Iceberg wrote. Or just seat on the grass at the pounds after lunch and watch the white swans playing, while drinking a cup of coffee. Priceless. There is BTW a place right across the street called Keanu- There are some low-key WGs there after 23:00. I didn't do major research in this field. Did attempt some watsapp / telegram messages. Mostly no response, or ghosting after saying Hi or asking for pre-payment. I was using a foreigner number probably that didn't help. I regret I didn't do further attempts, but that's for the next visit, I'm sure mongering in Moscow is elevated to excellent level from those sites.

WG via Agency:

I came across multiple agencies that promote ladies, most of them agreed for no pre-payment after understanding bank card situation (sanctions etc.), I was only asking for outcalls for 2 hours, prices are around 25 k-40 k (+1 to 2 k for taxi) for that duration, with few outliers both ways. I was using google translate, but I am sure most will respond to English. Services include protected sex, OWO, kissing (DFK), DATY, most allow COB with basic price. Extra are to be found. The girls were within good standerds optic / service wise. Only once faced bait and switch, otherwise you get what you ask for. Most of them work in telegram, and having channels to promote the ladies working with prices up front. Most agencies that I contacted shared similar WG with other agencies around 60-70% so that mildly hindered the selection, overall what was available was more than enough but still a larger selection would be appreciated further, and probably many agencies I didn't even come across, so imo agencies by themselves can be more than enough if you seek once or twice meetup / day. And the 25-30 k WG is similar in price to most good looking indies, so I think it was a fair price. Tried shisha at haunters and tbh it was super, really enjoyed it, and since the ladies arent allowed to smoke cig / vape in the main area (only allowed to smoke in private premises like the changing room), so you can gather many ladies on you to smoke shisha as its the only allowed method to smoke for the ladies in the strip club, and they came like hoards LOL. It might be YMMV, but I found the bar ladies / waitress in general to have better optics than strippers. Other crazy menu stuff are to be offered but didn't entice me. Overall its worth visiting as its unique in a way, its one of the few strip clubs in the world with almost zero scams, sex can be had if you are willing to pay, and if sex wasnt your thing (like me) the atmosphere is fun to rest between rounds from indies / escorts.

I checked out Vanilia / Soho (both same management) and Malvina. Vanilia / Soho were much more elegant and looks luxury compared to Malvina. All 3 erotic spa offered good service. Tldr. Mongering first time for a non-Russian speaking person like myself isn't hard. There are plenty of choice for mongering. I wouldn't say its utopia, nor it was bad. Its good worth trying maybe once or twice a year me. Its more worth it if you want to stay for long term to explore indies and non-pro. But for a tourist like myself interested for a short trip which is 6 h away from Moscow by airplane, I have many options near me that can do the job.

Will I repeat Moscow? Definitely yes even though it wasn't as perfect as I thought it would have been.

About banking: I don't think it's possible to transfer Western funds to a Russian Visa / Mastercard / Mir account. It's not connected to SWIFT anymore as far as I remember.

Canadian homie of mine did like this: he brought US $ , changed into RUB upon arrival in Russia and made deposit into this "debit bank account for tourists" that you are referring to. This way he had a fully functioning payment card to use in Russia. Why is this a big deal: In some cities when you enter the bus / trolley / tram they have the terminal that only accepts contact less payment, as far as I remember, later the ticket inspector comes with her device and check in the system if you paid by scanning your card. But sometimes she does not show up.

To enter the metro, you can also use your Russian bank card (better than to stay in line at Kassa for a paper ticket).
