Not all WGs in Russia speak English, so do you have this in English? There is a company call invitro in almost any district of Moscow, you can make a test there, so the results will be in Russian. Well, if the Russian Government suspended all kind of tourist visas, then unfortunately you will not be able to obtain it. The problem now IMHO is the Delta variants which are deadlier than the normal virus. Some restaurants you can't enter without your vaccination code and in Krasnodar even a beach is now only accessible for vaccinated people or those with certified proof of the antibodies. It doesn't look good at the moment.

I'm planning on visiting Moscow later this year, hopefully just before Christmas. When I have been travelling in the Ukraine, I have booked local apartments using Dobovo. Is there a russian equivalent of AirBnB similar to Dobovo, or does everyone use AirBnB and Booking for short stay apartments?

I'd like to have outcalls as much as time allows, which is why I want an apartment. I'm hoping to avoid questions and "taxes" from receptionists and security.

How does it work in Moscow? Am I just better off with a hotel? Is there anything I should look out for when selecting an apartment?

They are asking for prepayment either to scam you or in this case it could be to avoid "being scammed" themselves. In order to get a girl to agree to an outcall you'll need to build trust. I would recommend that you offer to book and arrange the taxi from her place to yours. Use an app similar to Uber and make the booking so that she knows that you are serious and a genuine customer. This is how I have managed to get girls to agree to outcalls without prepayment on previous occasions.

Never prepay a girl. Not in Moscow, not in any other place. Asking for a prepayment and never actually showing up is one of the most common scams.
