Airbnb is not a regular apartment company. It is individuals renting apartments. The person that I rented from did not have a pick up service. The ones I rented from in Kiev and Istanbul did.

This is my first time in Moscow. I could have used a cab or transfer company, but part of what I enjoy when adventuring to a new city is "living like a local" and this is what most locals would have done. I agree with you completely. I enjoy living like a local as much as possible, too, and I always rent an apartment unless I am staying in a city less than 4 days. However, lugging 40 kilo's of luggage for 2 kilometers doesn't intrigue me. However, I do admire your sense of adventure and I look forward to your future reports!

If you are staying at a hotel they will do it for you once you make the reservation.

It's situations like where Moscow could really benefit from an FKK Club. Unfortunately, there are none so in my humble opinion, you are limited to a salon or massage place. Unless of course you get a hotel and call up a WG.
