Actually, the "8" designates a mobile phone within Russia. If you are using a local Russian SIM card (regardless of where is was activated) you just dial 8 and the 10 digit number. Alternatively, you can just drop the "8" and dial "+7" and the 10 digit number. Personally, I prefer the latter system because then when I am dialing a local cell number that I have stored in phone memory, it works regardless of whether I am in Russia or not. If I am outside the country and dial the cell number using an "8" first, the call fails.

After going through reports from the past 2-3 years, I decided to make my move in Moscow.

Many posts seem to say good thing about Fantasy but after when I called the number posted on their website, there is a pre-recorded message that this number is no long in service. Instead, I checked out Edem Club not too far way.
