In my experience, the salon girls look "pretty close" to their photos on the web sites. Of course, there is always a little photoshop to fix skin blemishes, etc. But for the most part, what you see is what you get. While it's POSSIBLE to get a salon girls to leave the location, it's not normal. They do well on location and RARELY risk pissing off management by making a deal with you to visit you in your hotel. When it DOES happen, it's usually with a regular client so don't be surprised if you get a big "Nyet" is you ask them to leave the location.

Admitedly, all the talks about nightlife in the Kiev thread always turn around the same three or four venues. As if Kiev wasn't a city of 2,7 millions people, with hundreds of bars and clubs. (rolleyes)

Gopniki don't have access to Petrovitch, which is a private club, and where you need the patronage of two members to get a card (or to be accompanied by a member to get in). The drunk guys Jake talked about were rather inebriated and boorish wealthy russian men in their 30s or 40s. Russians are usually nice people, but they can go from jovial to berserk in a heartbeat. Especially when they're drunk.

It seems to me that most of the hot bars / clubs are filled with a younger crowd, which is not exactly my target market.
The older girls mostly seem to be pros, which can be okay, but by then they have a lot of miles on them.

Did I mention that we went to Petrovich BEFORE The Duck? It was full of the usual 28-32 year old girls looking for love on a Saturday night. We got there about midnight and truth be told, we should have gotten there a little earlier to get a spot at the bar. Oh well, that's life. The dance floor was jammed and there were a lot of Russian guys who were VERY drunk so we decided to move over to the Duck and avoid getting clobbered. We made a good choice as it seems the local boys can sometimes take exception to foreign dudes hitting on their women from time to time.

Sorry for the slow reply. It was a wild weekend. Saturday night was Beach Party Night at "The Hungry Duck". They brought in about 1, 000 cubic meters of sand and dumped it on the floor. Then they put in a half dozen kiddie pools and gave everyone squirt guns. I know it all sounds a bit juvenile, but by 3:00 AM every girl had a wet t-shirt. Good clean fun with plenty of hook-ups. All I am saying is that if you hit Aurora on a busy night, you might have to wait a while to get a room.
