The inner transportation ring is often referred to as the "Garden Ring" and is loosely followed by the circular ring of the Moscow metro's Brown Line. Line #5. Going north along Tverskaya Ulitsa it crosses the Garden ring at Mayakovskaya Ploshad while the metro ring crosses a little further out at Beloruskaya. There is another transportation ring often referred to the the 3rd ring. It is between the Garden Ring and the MKAD. Tverskaya crosses the 3rd ring just inside Dinamo metro stop. But wait, why is it called the 3rd ring and not the second ring? The inner ring is actually the Boulevard ring. But because it has a wide boulevard with a walking path down most of it, the traffic is quite slow so it's not really a transportation ring as such. Using the Tverskaya example, the Bouldevard ring intersects at about Pushkin Square. The initially confusing thing about the Boulevard ring is that each "segment" is actually named differently (Tverskoy Bulvar, Nikitsky Bulvar, Gogolevsky Bulvar, etc.) so when you look at an address of some place located on the boulevard, you know almost exactly where it is. Oh, and one more thing. The Boulevard ring is not actually a complete ring. Once it hits the Moscow River, it sort of disappears. Although some native Muscovites have told me that it was once continuous and there are still remnants down near Tretyakovskaya metro. But that's probably too much information.

The universal answer anywhere in the world: ask a local to call, be it an apartment owner, a concierge at the hotel, or you friend or colleague. Ask for exact address and direction in case of an incall, including a buzz number or name, and the entrance number of the building in case of multiple entrances. Ask the address to be written clearly for you in Russian and your native language. Use Google Maps how to get there. Take a public transportation or a taxi. Limit your travels within the inner transportation ring. Then you will absolutely find the apartments. Have fun!

Will not be an issue if you have the girls come to you, as long as you are not dealing with the real cheap ones. I would say $100 and up, but you can get real hot girls for between $100-200, tall and skinny, model types. As far as going to there apartments it will be an issues. This has been written about a lot, go back and read 10 pages and your questions will be answered.

Moscow is great and very reasonably priced now.

This is not a surprise, this subject has been talked frequently. Strip Bars are expensive in every country. That being said other parts of Moscow is very reasonable or cheap if you are smart. Apartments, Dining out, Drinks, and Taxis all very reasonably priced.

Girls are unbelievable, little crazy, but fun. Highly recommend Moscow, for reasons I have written in my previous posts.

Anyway. There's so many things I want to do in Moscow. I've done masses of eateries but very little in terms of proper nightlife. All of the bars listed. Siberia. Icon. Etc.

To be honest it would be nice to hang out with other like-minded men rather than feeling like some weird loner foreigner. I'm here regularly (I split my time between here and back home in the west).
