i thought i would try club pegas. it's website looked interesting; it's billed as a combination sauna/massage/strip club ( http://club-pegas.ru ). never heard of one of those before. pegas is located at 31 ulitsa bratislavskaya, which is the 2nd to the last stop on the light green/lime metro line, south of the center.

i get to bratislavskaya station about 22:30 and have the good fortune to come up from the metro right onto the main street. i flag down a passing zhiguli (yes, old zhigulis never die, they just move to the suburbs) and i tell him where i'm going. he waves me into the car without even asking what i will pay.

it's a saturday night and bratislavskaya is lit up like a christmas tree. there are shopping centers, casinos, restaurants, night clubs, even a mcdonalds. it almost looks like the arbat, except on a smaller scale. as i travel around town, it occurs to me that, like all major world cities, moscow is not one city. there are dozens of cities in moscow, each neighborhood has a life of its own and is completely self-contained, with its own character.

dom 31 is located at the very end of the street, almost to the river. we pull into the parking lot and drive around the building, looking for some kind of sign, but nothing to be found. my driver stops and asks several people if they know where is club pegas, but no one has heard of it. so, this doesn't look good. i call the club and the woman confirms that we are in the right place. she tells me to look for the arka (arch) and then i have to go cherez arkoo (through the arch). looks like i will have to find this place pyeshkom (on foot), so i thank my driver and give him 100r, which he seems to be happy with and i set out to find the arka.

there are a lot of arkas in this town. it seems that i always have to go "cherez arkoo" when i'm hunting down dyevooshki. i finally find it, in the middle of the building. it was hidden in the dark, which is why we didn't see it before. so, i walk through the arka and on the other side i find... more darkness, nothing. i call pegas again to find out what's going on and the woman tells me that they are in the podvahl (basement). sure enough, there is a door attached to the side of the building, under the arka,
that leads to the basement.

at the bottom of the stairs, i am greeted by a young woman, maybe mid 20's, who is the administrator. she welcomes me in and asks me to follow her down the hall. this place is big, and strangely quiet, for a strip club. she ushers me into a big room and offers me a seat at one of the divans. looking around, i can see that there is a sauna built into one corner, and a big jacuzzi in the center of the room. the room has been tiled with white marble and looks like a turkish bath.

the administrator begins to rattle off my options. i can have 2 girls for 1.5 hours, the use of the sauna and jacuzzi, klassicheski massage and eroticheski massage, but no sex. so, i'm thinking this sounds like a good uption, until she tells me it's 7,500r. which is probably why no one is using the sauna on a saturday night. i guess they never heard about market pricing. i ask her what else is available and she offers 1 girl, for 1.5 hours, klassicheski and eroticheski massage, for 2250r. this sounds more like it.

but, i'm still curious about the strip club. the administrator tells me that the strip club "nye rabotaiyet" (it's not working). this happens a lot in russia, things nye rabotaiyet. no one can ever seem to explain why, they just don't. it's a russian thing. people start out with the best of intentions, but ultimately, it all falls apart and all you have is "nye rabotaiyet". i pay her and she leaves to fetch the dyeffki.

she returns with an even dozen girls, who line up and introduce themselves. i have to admit the selection is impressive. there are short ones, tall ones, blondes and brunettes and all definately do-able, if that were an option. i end up picking nissa, she's short, with a tight compact figure, almost buff. if nothing else, i should get a good massage. she also has a nice smile, always important.

Last time for six nights in Alfa with the suites on the 28th floor, two transfers from DME, four transfers in the city (already planned with hired cars with drivers, usually I use the Metro otherwise) I paid 1370 € (visa application if needed is free of charge and if you want done for more days). Booked for two breakfast included, all transfer, registration and taxes. Internet, PC, photocopier, fax etc is all included. You have to pay only for non Moscow calls which I do from my Russian mobile.

Same situation working suite will be.. (on the cheap expedia)

Golden Ring: 1930 Euro excl transfer, breakfast, visa
Budapest: 2260, only breakfast included
SAS: 4.400!
Renaissance (normal room only) 2.300
Hyatt (normal room only) 4.000 and you pay even for Internet!
Etc etc… You get cheaper only more in outskirts and not well served by the metro.

I am travelling approx 35 weeks a year (not only in Russia of course!)… and get from the companies the fly tickets (Business) and a fixed amount per day (as it is in use in some companies in my country) for hotel and food, not of course if I take out customers or so… with the price difference, if you are careful, it makes around 50.000 € a year should I scrap them just because Victoria and Helena (too old for me in any case) do not like the hotel I’m living in?

In the last ten years of travel this made me approx. 500.000 € or… I mongered ten years from Ukraine to Brasil, from China to Romania for free… and got left at least 300.000 € eh eh eh

Guys, Izmailovo and Crown Plaza (Mezdunarodnaya) are the most difficult places in Moscow.

Very simple Any one who thinks I'm hired by the hotel is a little strange.

A same standard room (of course not really "same standard" but it works for me) goes in the city for 7-900 USD or more. For what shall I pay this... just for living in the Sheraton or at the Hayatt (where it goes for 1.200?).

I have never had problems alaso with normal gests during the day I take up for meetings, male or female makes no difference, they just register the ID when they get in and when they get out as it was in any Russian hotel.

The problem is simply that you get girls with unproper or no documents. By the way if you booked for one and you want to register for two you just have to go to the Recepion (not the security) at any time. If you just want the girl up register at the security before 23.00 at 23.30 they will knock at your door and tell you she has to go, or... just bribe 1000 RUR.

The thing is done for YOUR safety... nobody will steal anyting here because all is registered! That is the matter, perhaps something is a little bit fancy but I do not care of that.

Well after reading all the reports I decided to focus on free girls. There are lots of free girls to have; join the internet, chat in bars.

There are two words that can often mean the same thing but are often used incorrectly. They are "less" and "fewer".

When you are referring to something that cannot be easily measured, like grains of sand on the beach, the number of stars in the sky, or the amount of bullshit being written on this site, it is considered proper to use the word "less". For example, "Dr. Skank writes less bullshit on ISG than Jake993".

However, when you refer to something that can easily be counted like the number of beers you had last night, the number of orgasms she had this evening, or the number of girls you slept with last year, it is considered appropriate to use the word "fewer". For example, "Life has fewer rules than you think".

Mind you, in your case I suppose that when referring to the number of girls you slept with last year, it might well be appropriate to use the word "less".
