By the way, it's not just us. Many of my Russian friends, most of them "direktors" 35-45 years old are also not going to prostitutes anymore. I've observed a lot of bar action at hotels and girls often talk a long time to the Russian guests without scoring. They chat and chat, maybe even take a stroll and eventually he leaves alone. These are guests. I think the Russians have a different attitude to the game, they feel no obligation to go with the girl just because they talked with her. Had another weird night tonight. My buddy texts me around midnight to tell me that he's out with 2 total hotties and needs a wingman. Now understand, I'm not one to turn down such random acts of kindness, but guys, I'd only had an hour of sleep (see my previous HotDog report) and was still finishing up my work for the night. What sort of club or bar, I was wondering, would be in the Olympic Stadium? So I grabbed a gypsy cab and headed to Olympisky Prospect in search of my friend and his two dyevushki. I hook up with his driver in the parking lot, and he directs me to a door of a club called "Ko Ko" (at least that's what's above the door). Inside, it's clearly a strip club and has "Show Girls" plastered everywhere. I wonder if I have the right place, as it looks like a cross between Hot Dog, a strip club and a sports bar. So, I pay the 1000R cover and immediately see my friend and his "hotties". One is truly quite good looking (a brunette), but her blonde friend doesn't do it for me at all. Anyway, it's clear that neither of these girls is interested in me either (I barely got a "hello"), so I direct my attention to the talent within the club. HotDog - high cover, lots of traffic, easy to pick up customers, but recently swamped with chyornie

Guys, Izmailovo and Crown Plaza (Mezdunarodnaya) are the most difficult places in Moscow for inviting guests. If possible, better avoid them. If you still deside to stay there, remember that you should take girls with you earlier than 20.00-21.00 and pay for them as for additional persons in the room. Sometimes you will be unable to fix the problem at all, depends on a shift. And forget about discretion, because you'll have to move with a girl everywhere - when she is in, when she is out, ect. And each time you appear together, a lot of security's attention is guaranteed.

I was there in April and had "take out" twice from hot dogs and both times there was no Bar Fine per se. In the past when it was Boarhouse I specifically remember girls asking for 1,000 Rubles to pay the exit. Perhaps they have re-instituted the practice?

Was at HotDog last night with a couple friends. We arrive LATE after dinner and drinks at a couple of clubs. I mean well past 3am. The place isn't exactly jumpin' but there are at least 40 guys and 40 girls there, with a handful on the dance floor, most of the action towards the bathrooms and the pool table. The male population seems, um, "darker" than usual, and one of the girls there confirmed my hunch. Side note: one of the hilarious things about Russian is that they consider Caucasians (literally, people from the Caucasus mountains) to be "chyornie" (which means "black" in English). This includes all those guys you see on the news recently (Georgians, Ossetians, Abkhazis) as well as Armenians, Azeris, Chechens, Dagestanis, Turkmen, well, you get the idea. Anyway, for whatever reason there were a disproportionate number of those guys there last night. And since your average Slavic Russian girl is usually a more than a little prejudiced against them, it meant that the odds were definitely in our favor.

Unfortunately, the talent pool at that hour on a Tuesday is pretty dismal. The hot/doable/pass split probably 5/25/70. We get some drive-bys, but nothing of interest.
