Still planning for Moscow last week of June. St. Pete may be off the itinerary since my pal there had to leave town suddenly with a black eye.

But it makes me wonder if there is an opportunity at some of these clubs with cover charges or face control for trolling outside the clubs?

A long time ago, in a land far, far away (it was Rio) there was a particular disco that was the main place to pick up amateurs and semi-pros. But it seemed to me the best pickings were not inside the club, but at a patio bar just outside, because a lot of the girls did not want to pay the cover charge to get in, or were waiting for girlfriends to show up before commiting for the evening. So it formed kind of a holding tank for wannabees.

So by hitting up the girls drinking on the patio you saved their cover charge, plus your own, making to economics of the thing that much more attractive. Plus I found it easier to meet them outside the noise and darkness of the disco.

Alternatively, it provided you with another tool to impress - you take them in and pay their cover (and maybe their friends) and they get to show off that they already have a date with a foreigner.

So my point is, would this strategy work outside Moscow clubs? Are there queues of girls waiting to get in, or at loose ends because they cannot get in, who would be ripe for an invitation to dinner or drinks elsewhere?

Single moms:

In theory this is a good idea, and one that does conjure up images of helping out a lonely woman and giving her the affection she needs. It may even work, however in my experience it didnt always pan out to what I wanted.

Although I have never specifically pursued single moms I have run across a few in my time, and you are right, there are many... and many of them are still looking really great.

There are some negative aspects, or rather aspects of concern, to be taken into consideration.

2) what do they want? Although I am sure many would be happy with just some casual sex, the ones I have had wanted more. Although my affairs with single moms all ended amicably and we shared some nice times together, this was more emotional baggage than I was prepared to carry, so I have ceased to pursue this kind of affair.
