Kiev (and Odessa, presuming that cost of living is approximately the same in both cities), in 54th place, is not that cheap. Bucharest is the least expensive European city in 103rd place, and Buenos Aires one of the least expensive in the world in 142nd place.

Many thanks for this link and info. I will use it to plan where to visit as I am looking for 3 or 4 cities or towns in Europe where sex with fare skinned girls is easily available and the cost of living is not ridiculously high. I am covered with Asia as I have found that Utopia in the Philippines and Thailand, Africa, the DR, Colombia and Brazil more than cover me for my dark fetish but reasonable priced, fun loving, white skinned or blonds have eluded me for a while other than in my own country of Australia but then you need to keep them long term as a GF which I don't want to do due to the hassle.

These ratings aren't really 100% accurate .... there is seemingly no logical reason why some cities are ranked higher than others. .

These ratings are based on downtown office space prices, certain services, residential prices etc. and aren't really 100% accurate, but they do at least provide a general guideline. That said, there is seemingly no logical reason why some cities are ranked higher than others.

Ca_T: I like ODS a lot and can't wait to get back and just relax... am quite frankly a bit worried that ODS will get overrun with tourists however and just become another beach resort town ala Mallorca or Rimini with its groping tourists, lackluster service and annoying crowds of sun-happy revelers. I certainly dont need that, if I want that I can stay in Europe and actually spend less based on the kind of great package deals you get here. I just hope that ODS can maintain its special character!

If I had to go somewhere to choose the world's best women for my personal harem and could only go one place, I'd still go to Moscow though... FSU's collective wealth of beauty resides there. My current "flames" are from Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan, not to mention some of the standard blonde type.

Odessan women do have a very special sexual quality about them though and if someone would say that Odessan women were the world's best, it would be hard to argue... its all a matter of perspective.

I'm admittedly spoiled in Moscow and the freebie market. It's better than ever if you apply yourself properly and can offer the girl at least some intangible "value-added" quality, which is essentially at least the notion that you live there, are successful and might actually see her for a second date after banging her... I also find that Moscow women are addicted to adventure and excitement, if you can offer her something more than the standard expensive dinners, flowers and perfume gifts you can get far. I've long stopped going to expensive restaurants for example, its usually just a waste of time and money and doesnt really get you any further with the girl. My favorite gift is still lingerie... she is almost forced to model it for you and they all love it...

If I want to go someplace to relax and let life pamper me with sun, frolick and babes, Odessa is the place.

doc... no question that Moscow has more options available for P4P, but you have to admit that ODS holds its own when it comes to regular girls in both quality and quantity!

No doubt that Moscow is a fun place to visit, especially when you have an unlimited expense account and a very flexible schedule, but...

When it comes to less cost, less hassle, less traffic, easy trip from airport, better weather, excellent restaurants at a reasonable price, all in a stress-free environment, ODS is ahead of the game... AT LEAST AS A PERMANENT RESIDENCE.

Militia is the police. I advise you to carry your passport (some carry just a copy, I carry my original... not sure if that is wise or stupid) and make sure your visa is registered. If that is taken care of, you will have no problems with them. You may get stopped by them for routine document checks or may get stopped in the taxi if coming from a tochka or pickup bar like CF (Boarhouse), but then it is a question of a bribe, which should be handled fairly discreetly.

I just can add that it's a wise decition to carry passport original. Even we, Muscovites, do the same. Because if something is wrong with your papers, you can be locked in the police for a day or more, which is not at all pleasant. In some days it seems they check documents on every corner, but if everithing is OK with your passport, visa and registration, they let you out in a polite manner.

But later, I said, fuck it; I am gone live only once (also weed and booze might affect me).

Trendy outfits and accessories definitely impress girls, Russian girls are looking and interested in fancy watches, latest model high tech cell phones, expensive shoes, what you order to drink, how you approach to them and you can dance or not.

I have never carry more than $500 in a night. Even though I keep them separate and never ever show how much money I have in my pocket. No need to take attention and attract girls with money. You already pay her for sex. I don’t carry wallet or credit cards. I had problems on withdrawing cash from ATM machines; therefore I only bring cash. If I(we) brought girls to my(our) place, we always lock the door and hide the keys. Also try not to leave the cash or wallets on tables.

I prefer to ignore people when I use the metro, try to stay away from the empty streets or under passages.

I love to walk around the city and use the metro. I even use irregular taxis to go to incalls. Most of the time I can understand the metro station but not the full address, so girls gave the directions to the driver and had no problems so far.

Unfortunately, most of the foreigners are only after sex with long, thin, blonde Russian girls. And when ordinary Russians meet a foreigner, they think, “oh this guy is after my devushka”.

From outside, people think that they don’t like foreigners but not totally true. They may look cold or unfriendly but they are one of the friendliest people on earth. Don’t forget Russia was the motherland of the communist regime.

Russians are real party people (Especially prefer house parties). Love to drink, eat and dance.

Short of long, Moscow has the craziest nightlife. As long as you have enough cash flow, nothing is impossible.

The only people who really have problems with skinhead gangs are "black people" and when Russians refer to "black people" they mean anyone with dark skin... Africans, Arabs, Indians and in particular people from the Caucasus, like Chechens, Dagestanis, Ossetians, Azerbaijanis and even Georgians and Armenians. People from some central Asian former Soviet republics like Tadjikistan or Uzbekistan are also sometimes targeted as are darker skinned people from other areas like Turkey, Romania or wherever. That said, the vast majority of problems faced are outside of Moscow in places like Voronezh, where several high profile murders have taken place at the hands of skinhead gangs.

Within Moscow, at least within the vast center, you will not encounter skinhead gangs or violence. Black people may encounter other forms of racism, like verbal attacks, not being able to get into clubs, hassles from the police etc... basically the same type of racism that can occur anywhere. Russians are xenophobic people and jelaous. Most race problems are related to the fear of foreigners taking away jobs from Russian workers, terrorism caused by Muslims and dark-skinned peoples obsession with blonde Russian women. There is also some jealousy directed at people from the Caucasus due to their relative success in Moscow, oddly combined with their high unemployment. Moscow is a financial mecca and many people from the Caucasus, particularly Armenians and Georgians, have been very successful and like to show it off... black S-class Mercedes, Armani suit, blonde doll on his arm. (some of my best friends in Moscow are Caucasians) This causes jelaousy. Vastly more people from the Caucasus and central Asia have come to Moscow unemployed and work cheap labor jobs or dont work at all... causing fear that Moscow is being overrun by "foreigners" and "black people". More cause for strife. Add in the constant fear of Chechen terrorist attacks and you have an omnipresent latent anxiety. Even this kind of racism shouldnt be exaggerated in my opinion. I'm not black so I am not an expert, but I have known some people who might get targeted by racial treatment and they got along just fine in Moscow.

If I were black I would think twice about going to provincial Russia however and if I did, I would be very cautious, especially at night.

General anti-foreigner sentiment, including against white foreigners, does exist to a certain degree as it does everywhere, especially in poorer areas of Russia. Again this is based on the fact that white foreigners are viewed as rich (at least by the general "poor" public, rich Russians view foreigners with a certain degree of respect and a larger degree of apathy) and that white foreigners are seen as doing very well with Russian girls.

Moscow (at least central Moscow) however isnt poor and is more obsessed with money than anything else, so people "dont have time" to worry about bothersome foreigners. You may have a comment or two thrown your way, one you likely won't even understand. In the last few years I've had less than 10 minor incidents based on my foreign status (knock on wood) and these were all really laughably minor.

My best suggestion is to go to Moscow with an open mind. Some people are fascinated by it and drawn in like a moth to flame, some people are intimidated by its vast size and power, some love its world-class nightlife and exciting pace, others are annoyed by its high prices and nerve-grinding big city annoyances. There is truth to all of this, but for me it is still my favorite place... to visit.

Thanks for your advice and insight. Earlier in this forum, I have received advice that it is resonably safe in Moscow for a white tourist. I am a little confused what to believe now.

I have heard the work "miltia" used her many times. Does that refer to the army, police or gangs in Moscow?
