both in kempinsky and radisson you must meet the girl dounstairs and take her out. then you don't have to pay security.

What exactly you would like to get? Write to me and all can be arranged. To tell you the truth I've not the idea what they offer in FKK or Thailand, but about Moscow I know all, as I was born here

    Ocean Explorer,

Thanks for the report. Too bad you didn't have more free time in Moscow.

Internet access shouldn't be a problem. If it's not available in your hotel, there are lots of internet cafes around the city, particularly in the center of town.

The salons do tend to be afternoon/early evening kinds of places. If you call in advance and let them know you're coming, they might hold a spot for you, but if they suddenly get slammed, they can also tell you to [CodeWord140] off, after all, they've only got so many rooms in those small apartments. Best time is around 13:00 to 15:00. By that time, all the girls are ready for work, and the commuter rush still hasn't started.

Phone numbers are on the website. I believe Patriarshi Prudi is now on an alternate site, pussycats.ru. A cell phone is really a must if you want to connect with internet girls and salons. Any unlocked GSM phone should work. You can buy a prepaid card on the street to use while you are in town. Make sure your phone works with the correct frequency, I think it's 900.

Your knowledge of French will actually help you with your Russian vocabulary. The Russian aristocracy never spoke Russian (although they could), they considered it beneath them, so they spoke French much of the time. Once you can read and pronounce the Cyrillic alphabet, you'll be surprised at how many familiar words you will encounter.

BTW - it's a lot warmer in summer

109... Thanks for the kind words!

HOWEVER... stand by for a new announcement in the next month or so about a "new" opportunity for you! And, it won't even require passing the hat!

Besides... the ABSOLUTE best thing that ever happened to me is leaving Moscow and moving to Odessa!

    Cold Days in Moscow

I have greatly enjoyed reading the steady banter on the Moscow ISG site.
This is my chance to contribute a little back. Unfortunately, not as much as I had hoped. I don’t get to Moscow often. The first time was a year ago September when I was there for about three days without obligations and had two enjoyable trips to Night Flight and one to Oh La La. I reported on those in 2004. This time my hosts had me tightly scheduled and I was amazingly cold so I did not have the flexibility to do as much mongering as I desired. So I’ll report on a broader range of topics than sex.

Arrival: I had a late arrival Sunday night at Sheremetevo-2. We unloaded about 530PM and did not clear immigration until 800PM. Important to always keep this long wait in mind when making pick up arrangements. Fortunately my friend was aware of this.

Hotel: My host had arranged for me to stay at the Hotel Academicheskaya which is near Leninskii Prospect near Oktyabrskaya Metro (both brown and yellow). Many of you guys travel in different circles when it comes to hotels. On this trip I didn’t have much flexibility. There are pros and cons with this place. The biggest pro is the price. A single is 4600 rub (~$120)(including the 18% tax) and that is hard to find in Moscow. The rooms were recently remodeled and basically nice but small. The location is actually quite convenient for Metro and gypsy taxi. But there are serious looking security guys on the 1st floor so I knew right away that arranging internet girls to visit me there or bringing girls home was probably out of the question. Also there is no internet in the rooms and only one computer in a room near the desk that was not operational for the first day I was there. Luckily I had brought a ream of printouts from ISG.

Cash: I had no luck using either my debit or credit cards at some cash machines, especially those located on their own like in the hotel lobby or in a Kofe house. I kept getting messages saying “your bank refuses”. I know these cards work overseas because I use them in Paris all the time. Eventually I was able to draw cash on my Visa using cash machines attached to a bank. Anyone else had this problem? Luckily I had brought a bunch of money that I changed on the street.

Transportation: The Metro is definitely very good and you can shoot quickly all over Moscow. The 10 ride ticket is convenient. The trains come about every 2 minutes. Most are deeply buried as they were also bomb shelters during the cold war. Also each station has its own unique design. But often the Metro will usually deposit you within a good walk of your destination. Normally not bad but with T = -28C it was just too cold for walking and I couldn’t do much of that. So I tried the gypsy cab approach described on these pages and can testify that that works great. I would just stand on the closest busy street facing the direction I wanted to go, hold out my hand and a car would stop usually within 1 min. I would tell the guy where to go and had it written down as a back up. In some cases I knew the directions better that the driver and would give them directions with naleva (left), naprava (right) and pryama (straight). (I use that same approach in Istanbul where I lived for 6 months and also know my way around very well). I had usually studied a map so I knew exactly where to go. I also found that many of these guys could not look at my map when I tried to show them but asked for the Metro stop instead. I concluded that many of them probably have not had much experience looking at maps and don’t know how to deal with that. One guy bringing me home from Oh La La got lost twice and stopped by police twice. The police stop people right and left at all time of the day seemingly as a strategy for checking registrations and for drinking. I felt bad for him so gave him more. In all other cases I just gave the driver 200 rub and asked if that was OK, and it always was.

Culture: My host got tickets for the Bolshoi Monday night and we saw Giselle. I saw that in Seattle in the 1970s when the Bolshoi was touring the US. The main Bolshoi stage is being renovated so we were in the “New Stage”. Smaller but still very nice. When I was younger I did not think ballet was my thing but this was just amazing and now I’m a convert. I can’t believe how long they stand on their toes. Their body control is just amazing. It wasn’t sold out so take it in if you can.

My host took me south of town to Kolomenskoe. This is a large park setting on the Moscow River that was the site of a magnificent wooded palace build for Czar Alexey (17th century). Unfortunately this was one of those very cold days so walking around was painful. This place should be really nice to explore under just about any other weather.

Food: Using the eXile Restaurant list as a guide we went to Ketama one night. This place is Middle Eastern (lamb, couscous, octopus salad, baklava) and I rank it right up there with Night Flight was a great meal in Moscow. Its on Bolshaya Dmitrovka 5 / 6 and upstairs. Lots of cushions for sitting. It is expensive. I like the ethnic type places so Tiflis (Georgian) and Old Havana (Cuban) were on my list but will have to be for next time. Went to Real McCoy for dinner after the Bolshoi as well. That was just when the cold snap began and it was basically empty, but we were on the early side (~10PM) of a Monday night.

But suddenly it was Tuesday, time was flying by with no action – so based on my previous experience and Banana Finger’s great descriptive account I went straight to Oh La La at 1100. I was horny. This was a -25C night. What a stroke to your manhood and ego this place is! There were probably 30 girls and maybe 3 other guys. BF had indicated that he would be in town but most of the guys there that night were Russian. Everyone was crowded into the front room because the bar as the back room was decidedly colder. And if you are walking around half naked that is a big factor. I was just mauled by hard bodied, good looking women. I felt like fresh meet with dollars to spend. One girl after the other would take their turn, stroking my chest then my legs. Taking my hand to explore all parts of their bodies. Simulating sex (I was sitting on a stool at the bar). Hands in my zipper making be so very hard, and laughing about it. I probably enjoyed about 10 of these. I was intent to not be in a hurry but the second dance by Deana from Uzbekistan just had me so turned on I just had to go to the room ($150). There we undreased and I was confronted by a virtual wild woman. This had to have been the wildest sex that I have ever experienced. She fucked herself on my tongue for what seemed like eternity. Then wild fucking in several positions up, down and sideways. I was just wasted after than.

I really wanted to try the salon (erotic-massage.ru) near Patriarshy prudy but couldn’t connect. I did a reconnaissance on Monday when I had an hour or so of free time. I found the street, building, arch and courtyard where it is located. But I ran out of time. I returned the next day with more time and a copy of the web page. I asked some guys coming out of one of the buildings and they said that the place I thought I had the phone for was actually out by Filyovsky Park Metro (way to the east). It was so cold that I couldn’t do any more of that kind of research. So I realized that I was stuck. I didn’t have the apt number or correct phone number. I did a PM to someone who knew and got the entry and apt (but didn’t think to ask for the phone). On Wednesday my hosts kept me busy most of the afternoon. I kept trying to say that I had to leave but by the time did, took a Metro and had dropped my stuff at the hotel and took a cab up to the Pond it was 530PM. I found the apartment and rang but they said no. [CodeWord140]. I don’t think anyone has really said but I have the impression that these salons are afternoon kinds of places. 5:30 is probably too late. Or probably they just didn’t like that I hadn’t called first. But I didn’t have the number. So I apologize for my bad manners in this case.

I was trying to do all this without a cell phone. I really don’t need one for any other reason – at least for these occasional 3-4 day visits. So it seems like a waste to get one just to go to a salon. But if I was going to stay longer or more frequently and also be in the position where I could call internet girls, I would probably do so.

With each visit I pick up a few more words of Russian but I spend so much time in France these days that learning French is consuming my language energy. My small goal this time was to get better at reading crylic – and I did that.

So sorry for this long winded account (mostly about tourism) but I do look forward to another trip to Moscow and I hope it is not for another 1-2 years. CaT described Moscow as a smorgasbord of sexual options. Next time I’ll see if I can figure out salons and saunas.

    109:

Things are bad as Ca_T has lamented.... I just got a quote of $500 on a single room from the Sheraton...

But booked a $145 studio from Sveta instead. Technically speaking, $145 is too much for the small studio I am getting, but that is current market price.

Basically there is a horrific undercapacity on rooms in Moscow and relief is at least 2 years away...

Thanks CaT, I'll give those a try. Damn it, how come things are so bad in Moscow with accomodations? We should have started a donation drive at ISG to bribe you into never leaving moscow-star.

  13. #36
109... just a quick comment. With the Rossiya closing even the trash spots are raising their rates and will be full all of the time which means less need for customer service.

My old assistant, Sveta, has apparently started a new apartment rental place and one of my old clients is here now and tells me that her operation is similar in all aspects to my old operation before I sold it. Her website is www.moscow-comfort.com

I think she only has a handful of places so she may be full as well.

You could also try one of the RE companies, Blackwood, Beatrix, to name a couple.

If you write Sveta, you shoud not mention ISG because I don't think she knows anything about it.
