I am not Russian, but many times I heard the stories about the 90's. Good and bad ones. IMO It will never be 100% like that anymore, but maybe something similar, hell, maybe even better (regarding to us foreign guests). As for now, Due to the difficulties in logistics and visa etc. It's more difficult for Westerners now to reach the land in question. Just like you I am very impressed that the "valuta' situation stayed stable. Nobody in the collective West expected that. And it's over one year now.

Since the exit of FB from Russia, there has been increasing activity / offers going on on VK and mamba. But again, be careful with the black sheeps. And yes, the community sextalk seems to be legit.

Judging from the posts on www.sextalk.ru prices certainly don't seem to have dropped much. Mind you, with international travel options being more limited, there are probably a lot of local boys with a little extra cash to spend so I suppose this should be expected. We will have to monitor the situation to see if conditions return to the 90's level where regular office girls were supplementing their income turning tricks. Not that there is anything wrong with that of course. No disrespect to our Russian monger brothers but, those were certainly the heydays of Moscow mongering. Visited Moscow last month after 3 and half years, tried Vanilia, Soho and Imperium for nuru massage, ladies were gorgeous as before. 12 k for 60 minutes nuru plus bonus 30 minutes classic massage for regular customers. Isn't it interesting how this thread has completely "dried up" in recent months? With the special action that we don't really need to refer to by name, I suppose it is understandable. To any of you ISG members who are left in Moscow, I would certainly be interested to know what's going on. I suspect that there are still a few expats still living in Moscow keeping their heads down. But what about the sex scene in Moscow? Has there been an evolution? I suppose I should not be so lazy and check for myself on www.sextalk.ru.

No, we did not create such a word exclusively for our red enemies. But what we did make up for the most hated of red enemies is "pinko commie" haha! Oh Yess my friend. And communists I knew (in CCCP) are something very different from actual Russia. Somebody thinks that if state controls some important media, owns important industries etc etc they are communists. It's not so otherwise France and UK should have been communist countries. Italy too. Of course there are a lot of nuances. Soviet Union has never been a dictator system like Italy, Germany, Spain or South American Countries. It was very different. Totalitarian of course, but different and it has nothing to do with today's Russia. I have been there so many times in the last 40 years, searching pink holes (The Cane you know.) so I know: ". Overall, yes. It's safe. Moscow is clean and the people are friendly, even if you're from an unfriendly country. In general, it's more about how you act than where you're from.

So I'm an American who's been in and out Russia for most of the year. I'm currently in and staying in a smaller city. Just wanted to chime in about whether or not it's safe to visit.

Overall, yes. It's safe. Moscow is clean and the people are friendly, even if you're from an unfriendly country. In general, it's more about how you act than where you're from.

That being said, there are some downsides. Such as an unfavorable exchange rate, being limited to what you can bring in (max $10 k), and language barriers. Having friends in the city helps a ton.

And about risks, I also agree with you: so generally speaking, if one is from the list I wrote in the post, you have to think twice, before you take a decision. Maybe better to wait until the conflict is over, and let's hope it will be over ASAP. Oh BTW, there is a British guy who lives in Russia, iEarlGrey, just in case you want find out how the situation there really is by now. Well, from his perspective of course. I think he has / had a YT channel, can't find it right now, but I think he is still videoblogging somewhere in some platform.
