I also lived some time on Canale Griboyedova, close to the Bank Bridge (Lions with wings).

Coming from Nevsky Prospect the tribunal bar was 2/3 of a block down on the left. Looks like its no longer open. I went a couple of times on my 1st trip. It was a little pricey for girls and the women were a little more seasoned "older" hookers. I quickly found there were much cheaper and better options for younger women, salons, home delivery ect.

Yes there are a few girls that will up charge who speak English but its up to the buyer to shop around. If your in a fancy hotel the English speaking girls at the bar will ask ridicules prices. My experience with the Russian people has been that they are more than helpful when your trying to find an address. I have stopped passerby and asked them to speak with the salon I have on the phone and direct me. Of course they did not know the purpose.

Language is pretty much a non issue. Call the salons, if no one speaks any English (rare) call back later someone will or call one of the many other salons. Same with the independents. After several calls one day without great results a sultry blonde answered the phone says of course she speaks English then asks if she should bring a friend. YES Please do. Post Covid, go there, book a room in the city center, best with a view to the street. Then call a salon. They want to have you as a customer. I usually visit Piter alone, so I can explore the salonis myself how I want when I want and for how long I want.
