So this weekend I tried Club Metro (a very popular club) to see what I could see.

It is very expensive to go after 11pm, 450 rubles, but I was running late. We waited in line in the rain while the door man looked tough and important. You get a ticket good for a small beer. They seem to brew their own beer there judging by the kettles, unless they were for decoration. This kind of beer comes in 4 strengths and is very cheap (at least by american standards). Only $2-2.50 a half liter.

Anyhow, I sit at the bar and start to talk to people after some drinks. The entire place is wall to wall hot women. I mean, many young kids in between, but you can't even find an ugly woman unless you try for at least 5 minutes. Many of these are straight 9's and 10's on American's scale.. so impressive and well worth the entrance fee (get there earlier maybe before 8 to get in cheaper) I am probably the only American in the whole place and nobody I talked to spoke more than a little bit of conversational English and was very rusty. A few women came and went and others took their place. The last one to sit next to me is now a friend of mine visiting from Moscow. I also met other weird creepy people perhaps gay or wanting to rip me off, I don't know I was drunk and gave them my skype name and Russian cell #, who cares. They haven't called.

Anyhow, so I did meet a nice couple, one is a woman from Kiev who is very hot and has the "cow eyes" as you say. And me and this couple and the girl who is now my friend sat away from the bar at a table, and then at the bar after everyone left to "close it down" as we say in America. It was good times. The fact I was American made me a bit of a novelty and made it simple to make friends (despite the language barrier).

I have since gone a few "dates" with this girl as she postponed her train back to Moscow to spend more time with me.. but it is weird. We connect very well (we both love Wall-E and Mortal Kombat if you can believe it) but she already told me about her "roolz" including no sex? WTF is that? Despite this I tried to buy some Viagra yesterday at the pharmacy Аптека, apteka. They asked me how many tablets and I said in Russian 4, chetyre, and they brought back a box that said 460 rubles and she said 1 tablet? Yes Guido, I absolutely read the forum before posting. It just doesn't lead me to one easy route.

I am hoping and assuming boner pills are obtainable in Russia for tourists? I am young and don't necessarily need them but had good results in TLV with them as they tend to expedite service.

I guess my big concern is with everything being a ripoff in Russia. I am actually going to be there for quite a while so a non-pro/GF could be in the works.

Anywhere to start me off would be nice and I have zero Russian to use.

Yes I can confirm that the Zabara boat is still working, and Metro station Gorgovskaja is now open. Price I do not know but 1000 rup sounds about right.
