Saint Petersberg - What a City!

This was the city that we flew into and the airport was not as big as you would expect for this size of city. It was also very easy to get through quickly, customs and immigrations was a 30 second each type stop. It is on the edge of town but they do have numerous bus line going to it.

Luckily the host company had a van lined up with the driver holding a sign with our names on it. We got in and started on our three hour trip to Novogard the Great (see other cities for that report). There were three check points on the way to that city.

After three days in Novogard the Great we returned to Saint Petersberg and
what can I say, I fell in love with Saint Petersberg! It is one of the most beautiful cities in the world with marvelous architecture and tons of tourist things to do. The ladies are beautiful, food is great and most of the time people are friendly, although you do have to watch out for con artists here. Don't buy a Rolex on the street, it is a fake and an easily spotted one that you would not wear if you bought it.

First the hotels: The first night we stayed at a very fancy tourist hotel where everything was expensive, food, rooms and the girls. Drinks would cost you about $15 for a beer. The girls were quoting $500 a night. It was something like King something on the main street. It was just too fancy for my taste, who wants to wear a suit and tie (or more) to just get a bite to eat or have a drink? Location was great but over $300 a night wasn't sensible to us although the host business was picking up the tab for the room and food.

The next day our Russian guide checked us all into a five story huge hotel that was down the street from the King something and across from one of the railroad stations. The rooms were actually bigger but not as plush. It had several places to eat and a bar or two on every floor. The price was less than $35.00. This was my type of hotel! Although it looked more like a prison than a hotel on the outside, it was comfortable on the inside. I even had a view of the traffic circle and the railroad station. It was also right on the subway line and bus lines. Very convient too. Maybe 200 yards from the expensive plush palace. Food was good and cheap, drinks were under $5 for a mixed drink and the women, while not as well dressed were quoting $150-$250 a night. I was even offered $250 for two girls for the night at 2am. The blond I chose was a little too thin and had only a B chest but she was very active and would do anything including bbbj and CIM as well as greek.

Public transportation is the best I have ever experienced. The subway is cleaner and faster than London or New York. The only strange thing is the lacking of talking as you ride down the escalator. No one talked above a whisper. You could easily spot the foreigner because they were talking normally which sounded loud in comparison. And they are some of the longest escalators I have ever seen. The subway is very deep underground. Buses were plentiful up until about 11 or 12 pm after that you might have to wait a half hour. Taxi were all over the place but not the cheapest. But if you raised your hand a regular car would stop and take you where you wanted to go for 1/2 the price of the normal taxi.

Food: Simply great, the only better food that I have had is in Argentina. And not too expensive unless you go to the tourist type places for foreigners.

We visited the Hermitage which I also think is either called the Winter Palace or it is connected. We also did a walk through of a naval museum that was across the street from them. I could spend several days just going through these three and not be bored. There are numerous cafes and bars in this area that seem to have there fair share of working girls. And are fun places to hang out too.

The normal non-pro ladies seemed very helpful and friendly so freebies are not out of the question here. The weather was miserable to say the least with the cold and snow, but I still enjoyed every minute I was here. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't a cheap visit, but I had a great time here. The one complaint I had was with the heat in the hotel. You don't have control over the heat for each room. It was either by floor or maybe the entire building. If I didn't have a bed warmer, it would have been really cold.

We had several site surveys to conduct in this city so I didn't get to see anywhere close to even 5% of the city although we were here for five days. It is on my list to return to in the near future.

We left at 7 pm on the night train to Moscow (see that section for that report). I really want to return here as soon as I can, it was such a beautiful place.

    College girls are the best

St Petersburg has lovely escorts. Use the St Petersburg Times on-line or paper classifieds and enjoy. I saw a beautiful 20 year old college student in her apartment for 2 hours ($150, plus $15 for the apartment). She was sweet, served tea, kissed and was affectionate. She was so attractive-- 5'10'', thin, medium breasts--that we had to do it 3 times in the two hours. I recommend Lena's "CATS" service, though, several other attractive girls from the on-line services were free, but didn't have apartments. I recommend having a cab driver use his cell phone to locate the place if you go out--the cyrillic and pronunciations are tough. I think if you were a good dancer, Magribs would be the same, for free. The ratio of females to males was 3:1 and only about a quarter appeared to be professionals, most were young girls having fun. Fairly hard looking *****s approached me coming out of the nightclub and in my hotel, looking for $100 business.

It is very difficult and maybe slightly unfair to generalize this. Especially from a small overshadowing number of very bad and disgraceful incidents. But I appreciate such an 'experience' can be really bad.

If you are at the wrong time at the wrong place and maybe in the eyes of these strange offenders you behave different you may get into problems everywhere.

What I like to state is that can happen everywhere, everytime in most parts of the world for very different reasons.

I myself went into an armed robbery in Miami, lost a golden ring, a golden necklace and my 'second' purse with a couple of 100's dollars and my passports.

As it happened on the second day of my holiday trip I was able to get new passports and life continued. I only lost my permanant US visa, which wasn't put in my new passport afterwards.

I still travel to US from time to time, although being an European I prefer to be in Europe, especially in Eastern Europe. I'd only wish I'd had more time for the hobby.

    RE: Be careful guys

    Seek Rus,

Thanks for the warning. I cautioned non-white mongers about this last year and some mongers took it lightly. My caution was from personal and a cousin's (he almost died) experience. It is sad and unfortunate but it is a reality. I still miss my Russian friends but I don't intend on visiting Russia anytime soon.

    Have fun but be safe.

    Be careful guys

This shold be in the general info, but i put it here cause happend in St Pete. Just be careful.

ST. PETERSBURG, Russia - Assailants attacked Angolan, Bangladeshi and Chinese students in three separate weekend incidents, officials said Monday, the latest in a series of racially motivated assaults that underscore growing violent racism in Russia.

The Angolan student was attacked by several people in a subway station Sunday night. The 26-year-old was hospitalized with head injuries and knife wounds, said Desire Deffo, deputy head of the African Union in St. Petersburg. The student was in satisfactory condition Monday.

Deffo said the Angolan student reported that the assailants looked like skinheads, and the Interfax news agency reported that at least two people were detained.

A fifth-year medical student from Bangladesh was attacked Saturday by a group of people near a subway station in the north of the city. Mozibul Haque, the head of the Bangladeshi community in St. Petersburg, said the student was hospitalized with head wounds.

Also Saturday, a group of unknown people beat a Chinese student from the St. Petersburg Music Conservatory on the city's main avenue, Nevsky Prospect. The student was also hospitalized with head wounds, Interfax said.

No one answered the phones at the police department Monday.

Deffo said racial attacks had become more frequent in St. Petersburg in recent months, leaving foreigners afraid to walk the streets. He blamed inaction by law enforcement agencies.

"Many attackers remain without punishment and feel they can keep doing it," he said.

Racist attacks on Jews, dark-skinned foreigners and people from Russia's North Caucasus have become increasingly frequent in Russia's big cities, reflecting a rise in xenophobia and racism. Non-government experts estimate about 50,000 skinheads are active in Russia.

    Hello Guy#2

I admit that you are right in some of your observations. There are no intimate services provided, but I went to St. Petersburg on a business trip, not by a sex trip. The sex could have been the bonus.

I tried to get someone via Omen.ru but it is hopeless if you do not speak any Russian. I spent hours on metro stations to be picked up after making arrangements, but it failed two times. (at least I thought we had an arrangement).
St Petersburg is cold and windy at this time. All I can say is that I really enjoyed the $64 for a nice warm scrub body to body with a nice girl at that time. If my only reason to go to St. Petersburg was to get laid I would have been disappointed too. I have been there before a couple of times, and last time I was very lucky and found someone on Omen.ru that spoke English. Regarding your "last stupid question" I do not know. I just hope.

    Hello all,

    One comment and one question.

    1. Thanks for the Aelita spa post. But I looked at it and it says "No intimate services". It sounds like a jack off shop and the girls are not drop dead gorgeous as the girls on redclub.ru or zna.ru. For $64, a jerk off seems expensive. The idea of travelling all the way to Russia to find hot women because the western women in your country only work in jack off shops and then to pay $64 for a jackoff shop is depressing. Is there no sex? If not, I'd say fuck 'em. By the way the spa's website looks great and has an ENglish version. But then it makes me wonder whether some jag off westerner started Aelita and introduced this western concept of paying $64 to jerk off to Russia, the last bastion of getting laid with hot chicks for less than that.

    2. On a more serious note, I have a question. I had always planned to go to St. Petersburg but I bypassed this board after reading that the HIV infection rate is higher in St. Petersburg than Moscow. The news reports I read said the reason is because the girls are not organized and their is more girls shooting up in St. Petersburg than in Moscow and that the agencies in Moscow do not tolerate girls using drugs. ANy truth to that? That is why I am cautious about going to ST. Petersburg vs Moscow.

    3. Last stupid question. If you are showering or bathing or even sitting in the water at a spa with these girls, and they are infected, can the water carry the virus?

Thanks. I really hope that you can get laid at the spa. I am not trying to ruin your fun. But your posts sound like they are jack off shops. That is really depressing to hear that you have to pay $64 to get jerked off or to dry hump someone. What is the world coming to?

    I love AELITA

    Hi Nyfiken,

In my previous trip to STB, I went to AELITA twice and really loved that place. I got a chance to know a Russian guy. He told me that AELITA was designed for those "high-class" customers and supposed to have the best girls. Here is the web site: www.aelita-spa.spb.ru.

Thanks for the recommand. I don't find Lisa on their web site (the web site may not be updated). It is my first time to post a thread here. Say Hello to everyone.

Beside of AELITA, is there any other message salon that can speak english?

  11. #365

    no penetrating !!

    Hi.

I was reading nearly two years back about a place called Salon SPA "AELITA" they are at 179 Moskovsky Prospect (St. Petersburg). Next to the Jaguar Dealership. You have to go around to the side of the building near the very back. As I was staying at Htl. Pulkovskaya it was just a quick walk from the htl. First time I purchased a 60 minute erotic body massage for 1800 rubles and recieved an amazing massage and release from an 20+ year old read head called Lisa. I must say I have paid for real pussy but got a lot worse than this. When she was riding me I could have sweared I got the real thing... She was sooooo hot, and didn't even ask for any money. Next day I went back and tried a girl with rasta hair. Took a VIP room with sauna and jacussi for 3200 rubles. Did not work out the same as the day before. Next day I was leaving but went there 1100am to see if Lisa was back. She was and this time a erotic soap massage was ordered with only one girl. 2800 rubles. Nice body to body and releif. I can reccomend a try here if you feel for a nice massage or a warm soap scrub. Their number is 387-1408 and 387-1415 and they speak good english. Also, they have a nice place, and a relaxed atmosphere.

    hotels

I am not pushing any hotel in Russia. I think that most of them in SPB are WAY over priced for what you get. IMHO, it is not going to be easy to get rid of the Russian Mafia, so finding an apartment would be my recommendation.

It just seems that, for a place with tons of hookers, SPB should be a little more girl friendly in their hotels.

  13. #363
    J05...

I'm confused. In this thread you are pushing this hotel because of the great security and in the photo gallery you make this statement...

"Took her to the Moscva hotel and registered her. The next day security was blocking her entrance to the elevator and asking for her papers. It was like one of those Nazi movies. If you don't have your papers do they shoot you. Security in Russia is the Russian Mafia looking for protection money. Everyone knows it but you can do nothing to stop them"

Personally, I agree with your statement in the photo gallery. In my experience, Spb hotel security is the worst and even in Moscow hotel security is a pain in the ass with the exception of the Marriotts and a few other rare hotels.

In RU, apartments are the ONLY way to go. Even if the apartment is the same price as the hotel, it is usually more private and more comfortable.

Mike #3... You are correct, many companies offer different levels of quality/cleanliness/amenities/etc and it is critical that you research which companies offer the best service. The best way to determine which apartment rental companies offer the best value is to use the resources of this site and others. I wish you luck.

    Hotels

There are hotels in St Petes for $120 per night. THat is rather a high price for an apartment but the city is not very customer oriented. I think that you would like the beds in some of the hotels over the apartments. Russia has beds with a small amount of matress padding and no box springs. You will benefit from the security in the hotels as well.

I stayed near the Nevsky river in the Moscva hotel. It has a card access for the room and great view of the river. Also not far from Nevsky.

    Lodging

Does anyone have experience with www.petersburg-lodging.com ?
It looks nice on the photos, however from what I read in this forum it can also become a big disappointment, depending upon the company that ytou rent from.
Any other recommendations for apartments in SPB that have a good price/quality ratio based on your experience?

    Thanx for any advice.
