I visited saint Petersburg in June 2014 for 2 days didn't write report at that time as I was new to forum.

I take the cruise from Helsinki by Peterlines to st Petersburg, it took a night to reach SPB, I reached in morning, no visa required if you arrive by cruise and have multiple Schengen visa. Obviously this is just my opinion and if anyone has a different opinion that is great. I think a lot of the generalizations about the difference in the cities is actually seen in the girls.
