Yes it was a harsh lesson for me. Anyway strangely I never heard of this kind of scam before. My experience with Eastern Europe is limited to Ukraine, Russia and Poland only.

I always buy a local sim card for a couple of euros (300/500 RUB) as use it for 4 G internet and local calls for a week.

I will keep studying this forum to get some good salon names and locations.

The addresses of the salons are listed on their websites. Simply go to a salon's website and plug the addresses listed on the website into Google Maps. Simple as that.

I have been to a lot of salons here. The service is mostly good. It just seems very hard to find any stunners there, which you see in the city. The bodies are average. I have never seen anything exceptional (a latin booty, tatooed fitness model etc, the instagram model look).

Maybe you can only find this look in the premium priced escort services, I don't know? It's a shame you didn't read this forum before you visited SPB. If you had, you would have seen another monger post his Tinder experience in this forum back in mid-November, 2017. He even posted his sob story over on TripAdvisor.

In SPB, there's no reason to use Tinder, or Backpage, or Craigslist, or any other site where the potential to be scammed is high. For mongering in SPB, especially if you're a first-timer, remember only one word: salon, salon, salon.

They choose the place. A small, inexpensive looking bar at Fontanka River embarkment.

When I arrived at the bar, the girls were already having a cocktail. So I sat at the table and started to introduce myself.

They were pretty and dressed in jeans and t-shirt like two students. Nothing sexy. Nothing alarming.

The bar was almost empty. There was a student looking couple at a table having a beer.

After 5 min the waitress came and asked if I want to offer a bottle of wine to the girls.

Last night my buddy had a bad experience in a bar and paid 100 $ for a bottle of wine so I felt something is not right. It looked liked a similar scam.

So I stand up and apologized and said I have to leave now because there is an emergency.

At the exit the doorman said I have to pay my bill first.

I said but I didn't drink anything.

He said you have to pay for the girls. I said I don't know the girls I was just saying Hi to them.

He was basically asking 2 x2500 Rub (almost 100 $) for two cocktails.

Anyway to make things short the whole thing went for an hour.

The boss came in and said I have to pay. I threatened them that I will call the police, and even managed to call the tourist police, The policewoman was talking some english and asked me if I want her to send a police car to the bar.

At that point the one of the girls who I was supposed to meet came to me and said why I am ruining their evening etc. And I should not involve the police.

So I interrupted the call and tried to find a smooth exit of this situation.

After almost one hour, they accepted that I pay only one cocktail and leave.

Horrible experience!

So 5 min of chatting with two girls costed me 50 $ !

Beware! Choose yourself the bar where you meet with the girls. Don't seat at the table if you feel something is wrong.
