Actually I am going back and forth between Nikolaev (Ukraine) and Germany, but I want to go to SPb during Christmas time this year.

I know SPb very well, lived there for about 3 years in summary during 1997-2005.
My last visit was in 2005, so I want to check it again.

To go there during July-August is not a good idea, because all the students are on the dachas.

During christmas time, which is almost non-existant, there are a lot of cultural performances, lik exceptional opera/ballet/symphonic music.

So any other having plans for Peter?

Reading your post I suspect that at least two girls are/were hiding behind this photo. It sometimes happens that the mamochka does not show you the real girl, but someone else who looks (a little) like on the photo. This can be caused that the real girl isn't available, has left or just doesn't want.
