Communication is a bit of a problem in any club, as is their love of techno and house, but you should find numerous options.

I'm not in tune with the St.Petersburg scene so much right now as I haven't been there too often lately, but the following places have served me well:

Arena- mid-sized popular club, opened a few months ago, I think last fall.

Dacha- tiny, claustrophobic, smelly, cheap and packed full of student babes and a young local expat scene (another club called Ftory Etazh/2nd Story is next door/upstairs)... scored 2 Kazakh women there

Metro- big club with multiple areas, fairly young crowd... scored a fitness instructor/divorcee there

Rossi's- I never like the music there (on weekends they have live music) but I get laid there quite often, especially on Thursdays/student night. Do the math.

Decadance- nice place with young babe-ish crowd... some of them may be going to Arena now though...

Red club- haven't been there in a while... but used to draw good semi-elite crowd

Apollo- local crowd, heard good things about it but never actually been there myself

Onegin- like Red Club, haven't been to this "elite" place in a while, but it used to draw a top drawer crowd

I'll be in St.Pete in about 10 days, maybe I'll find something new...

* type of crowd (student? elite?)
