During a recent excursion to St.Pete, I tried my luck at a salon. My luck failed me.

Pulskovskay Hotel (Pobedo Square), close to airport.

Stayed overnight (with friends), no opportunity for P4P . The standard of the hotel has improved a lot since my last stay in 2001. USD.150 a night.

Noticed 3 WG's in the lobby at about 2300 hours. Did not get the chance to ask costs, but they all looked about 5-6, and in their late 20'ies.

You make some good points. But much of your logic is predicated on stating that the pros are ugly or average looking.

The Rules of Engagement

Experiences at Magrib & Rossi's from the perspective of a non-caucasian, 33yr old.

Magrib:

Magrib is your typical upmarket ex-pat venue. It's not bad and caters for everything in terms of food & entertainment with the restaurant & disco. One problem is the toilet, one unisex toilet for all restaurant patrons. Prices are not cheap but Western standard food. Food is okay if you can reconcile eating Japanese food in a Moroccan setting. I came to know Magrib and it's style because I visited the place consecutively over a number of days. My objective was to scope the place and to assess it's modus operandi.

Day 1:

I walked into Magrib around 22:00 and found a strategically located table on the restaurant side and ordered a drink. The restaurant is broken up into partitions or sections with clusters of tables. My partition was full of girls who appeared to be 'working' but off duty. It was pretty obvious they were working given their tight revealing clothes, lack of conversation and 'wingman' configuration i.e. pairs. They were all good looking and worth the $ but they must have been off duty or preparing for duty because they did not initiate or sustain any 'lock' (eye contact), strange? Anyway after watching all the 'models' I retreated to my hotel feeling hot & horny (I didn't know about the disco).

Rule 1 - It's better to bug out and fight another day than push a bad position i.e. never fuck a hotel hooker.

I broke a major rule of engagement. On the way up to my room in the hotel I noticed the hookers loitering around the lobby. I may finally get to take my long deferred visit to St. Pete. The closest I have come before was the fabulous Micado Club in Helsinki.

Question for the veterans. I may be able to squeeze some time in to visit Moscow as well. I will post a photographic itinerary in the photos section but I lost the street numbers after 136. Anyway I rang and she said someone was coming down to meet me, after about 5 mins a tall girl popped out of door appearing to look for somebody, clearly she was after me so I approached her and she lead me to their apartment. In fact I discovered later it was Leana/Liana.

Apartment
I was expecting a brothel or commercial establishment. The apartments appear to be regular homes for girls who converge in the cities to study and earn money on the side.
