CAT - maybe it was just my impression, but got the clear idea KK and Simon were 2 very different guys. I dont think Simon knew much about Moscow. KK on the other hand was a pro.

Acutally, I first had the observation in a post several weeks ago that Simon and KK are the same person because they were/are both very hostile and slammed everything and everyone, but the only real piece of information that both managed to provide were very detailed directions, address, phone, descriptions and pricing for the same (very rarely mentioned) club in Moscow.

Personally I don't see that in ElS, but haven't really studied his posts and who knows... only Jackson could tell us for sure.

So anyway, here's a report.

I'm not normally a bar-hopper, and that might have gotten in my way for my weekend in St.P.

On the first night, I went to Magrib at around 11:30 PM. My eyes almost fell out of their sockets - there were so many hot women there. But what I found really strange was that I couldn't really establish eye contact .. perhaps too old for that crowd (34)? I got one or two girls to smile back, but for the most part, blank stares. My experience in other bars of this ilk (mainly SE Asia, admittedly) is that you would get a response from the pros. I tried to talk to a few girls, but found none who spoke English.
