Go to Petersburg. Going to Moscow for p4 p is an error. People go to Moscow because it is the capital of Russia and that is all they know. Moscow is too big, too expensive (both p4 p and other things) and unfriendly (like many capitals, but among the worst in this regard). Actually there is not that much p4 p in Moscow anymore, expect for websites and online dating, and that is hit and miss. And when it can take 1-2 hours to get from one location to another hit and miss is very inefficient.

You are right, the strip clubs are rip off tourist traps. You have to go to the salons. It is easier to get in if you have somebody to follow you there and do 2-3 short telephone conversations for you. Like a reliable taxi driver.

Well if you scroll down just a little bit, you'll see that on May 16th, I asked several questions about mongering in St. Petersburg (SPB). And despite the fact that I didn't get a single response, I'm writing a trip report to share what mongering tricks and secrets I learned while spending a week in SPB. So here we go:

1) I was lodged at Nevsky Forum Hotel:

This hotel is right on Nevsky Prospekt. For those of you who commented on this forum that you used bilingual (English and Russian) taxi drivers to monger in SPB, you'll be happy to know that the main taxi driver for Nevsky Forum Hotel, Alexander, is also bilingual. But interestingly, after meeting him at the airport for my airport-to-hotel transfer and thinking that he was going to be crucial to my mongering success in SPB, I never used him once. Keep reading to find out why.

Another nice aspect of Nevsky Forum Hotel is that a majority of their receptionists are beautiful, young women who are also bilingual. One of them (Julia) looks just like actress Shannon Elizabeth, I shit you not. So it was nice to pass by the reception desk of the hotel multiple times each day and have all of these beautiful Russian women smiling at me..

I prefer SPB. Prices are higher in Moscow but I've hunted there once and not enough experience to know if the higher prices is worth it. Maybe someone else who has spent more time in Moscow can compare.

The best salon chains in Petersburg seem to be:

- Karamelki. The classic. Lots of French kissing and good sex.

- Nezabudki. One branch is on Nevskiy prospekt near Mayakovskaya metro station, 50 meters from Hotel Corinthia. Another branch at each end of Nevskiy. Pretty girls with beautiful bodies, perfect breasts in various sizes, good service. Nice large rooms and beds at Mayakovskaya and many short skinny girls.

- Markiza. Similar to Karamelki. Many girls happily French-kissed me. Girls at Fontanka branch not so attractive, though one was a beauty.

All have websites. Sometimes they are blocked, but then you can access them via free online proxy server.

The standard rate most places now seems to be RUB 3000, including DATY. If you want BBBJ its RUB 1000 extra.
