Yes. However it wasn't the best place I been to in the world, not a by a mile. But it was decent enough. And I reckon that with some local help and not being there during a big holiday will make life much much easier. There are many possibilities there, just hard to unlock.

So finally got to try out Russia for my first time. And pretty much everything that could go wrong wen't wrong haha! But I loved it.

Arrived at airport and went straight to buy sim card to make everything easy. But it turned out my fecking phone was locked to my operator in Sweden (which was weird because I have been changing operator. Ironically Tele2 is kinda big in Russia and I just changed from that in Sweden. Duh. I immediately thought damn this was really bad because the list of roaming costs I got on SMS from my operator was expensive. But at least I could use roaming whenever I needed, right?..

I've not been to SPB, but I have been to Moscow and Kiev and met Eastern European ladies elsewhere. They expect men to be forward. Do not be shy about asking them, just don't be crude about it either. Say something like "I was looking for companionship for the evening. " If they are in the game they will let you know. If they are not they will also let you know and if you were polite about it you'll most likely get a "Nyet".

What puts you off mongering in spb? It's a long time since I did as I mainly play with my porn girls but I wouldn't say to anyone don't. There are pitfalls but you probably know them all by reading the forum.

Hi guys,

Am currently spending a few days in SPB in Park Inn Pulkowskaya hotel, and the activity at the hotel bar has been leaving me quite confused so far.

On late evenings there are usually 1-3 single ladies in the bar, but they seem completely uninterested in the male patrons. One is usually standing at the bar, chatting with the service staff, another one sitting in a dark corner.

Yesterday I stood at the bar ordering a drink, when a lady just came in and chatted me up, introducing herself as Maria. After 5 min of friendly banter, when I expected a sales proposition she just excused herself, saying she had something to discuss with her friend. Then she joined the girl in the dark corner and didn't come back.

I've been on this site for many years, and other sites like this even longer. Every now and then I check out other forum locations to see what's going on in that part of the world. I've checked this forum over the years from time to time as well.

And this post, is by far one of the best posts I've ever read anywhere. Really. Props to Protocol. I don't know if you meant it or not, but your discussion of the ladies and scene in SPB (which I've never been to), touched on so many social / societal / economic ills, and in such a simple manner.

A tip of the cap to you Protocol.

I've been in and out of SPB for some years. I don't wander too far. Maximus has been the barometer for me. The first time I went maybe six years ago it was packed with gorgeous blond girls and girls with great bodies. If a girl was older she was like a 31 year old super hottie still that didn't lose anything because of her age but had just lost the vapid stupidity and quest for brand names, along with the arrogance and disdain of the younger girls. And had also lost the pushiness because it's got to be tiresome to be so push.

But those days are over.

It's been a slow slide. The prices went up over the years and the quality has been in a death spiral. SPB has always been the ugly sister compared to Moscow and maybe with the harder economic times the better looking girls have migrated down to the city where the traffic never sleeps.

Because they are sure not here now.

Don't get me wrong, it is still a whole level above the BS that you're going to get in almost every other country, but this club is called Maximus because that's the level of pushiness you're going to deal with. By the time you sit down you will have four girls surrounding you interrogating you with the same BS questions you'll always get. Where are you from, have you been here before, where are you staying....
