And this post, is by far one of the best posts I've ever read anywhere. Really. Props to Protocol. I don't know if you meant it or not, but your discussion of the ladies and scene in SPB (which I've never been to), touched on so many social / societal / economic ills, and in such a simple manner.

I've been in and out of SPB for some years. I don't wander too far. Maximus has been the barometer for me. Because they are sure not here now.

Don't get me wrong, it is still a whole level above the BS that you're going to get in almost every other country, but this club is called Maximus because that's the level of pushiness you're going to deal with. By the time you sit down you will have four girls surrounding you interrogating you with the same BS questions you'll always get. So finally got to try out Russia for my first time. And pretty much everything that could go wrong wen't wrong haha! But I loved it.

Arrived at airport and went straight to buy sim card to make everything easy. But it turned out my fecking phone was locked to my operator in Sweden (which was weird because I have been changing operator. Ironically Tele2 is kinda big in Russia and I just changed from that in Sweden. Duh. I immediately thought damn this was really bad because the list of roaming costs I got on SMS from my operator was expensive. But at least I could use roaming whenever I needed, right?

No not in Russia. For some reason it refuse to connect with 3 G /4 G and I can only make SMS and calls.

By now I start realizing this expert level country is going to be bumped up to master level, or more.

My first evening I had a set dinner date and even that turned out to be a hassle because she was ofc very late (even after rescheduling the dinner). And as soon as I left my hotels WiFi I was out in the dark.

Some WiFi in the city did work but some don't. This is because again you need to enter your phone number to get a pin code and unlock the "free WiFi". My operator is obviously garbage. The first thing I will change when coming back (Tele2 here I come again). However being at a high end restaurant really opened my eyes to how many nice looking ladies there are. Even coming from Stockholm it felt like a lot (usually everyone is sub-par to Swedish beauties).

Since my dinner date was a non-pro I won't bring up details from that. But she were 20 years old an tall and slim. Having her own central apartment. Think her parents had deep pockets.

Next day I decided that even though everything got so mixed up in my preparations I just had to try mongering. For some reason I love the challenge and after all the hunt in itself is one of the best parts in my book.

When I wanted my hotel to fix a taxi for me they pushed to know where I was going. And I had to argue that I wanted to talk with the taxi driver where to "drive me around". Really weird but after a while they finally ordered a normal taxi. Turned out the taxi driver spoke at least a fair bit of English and he called the Chika / Cheeky places for me to find out the address. And I thought finally my luck is turning, but no.

This weekend was the Soldiers holiday and now the place only took bookings for the next day. So wen't for my last option to let the driver fix a place and he OFC knew where to start calling to meet a girl. He asked me if I wanted "good girls" or "normal girls".

The good places he said cost 5000 RUB / h and that was fine for me. Told him I wanted 2 h with a very good girl.

When we arrived I gave him a tip and he helped me up to the door (just like previous reports). It really is like a thriller movie passing the heavy metal doors like someone mentioned here. My taxi driver told me this building were over 300 years old and one of the first built in SPB. There were only a handful of girls and quality "OK". But very slim ones and two spoke pretty good English. The place was next to a strip club too.

Took 2 h plus some champagne. There were no real extras offered by my chosen girl so I thought this is going to be really mediocre. But at least I'm helping out the local economy a bit.

We agreed to have sex 2 times during this time which was no problem at all. Kinda standard but at the same time she did deep throat and I could pound away in any position I wanted. Luckily I will come back in a month from now and I can't wait. Dunno why I loved it so much but I guess rough and hard environment is up my alley.

Been to Ukraine many times and almost every East European country. Except for Prague which is a easy and cheap mongering place SPB is now my absolute favorite. Even though it's by far the hardest place I've been to (especially when you fuck up like I did in my preparations).

On a side note I stayed at Petro Hotel which I can recommend for a cheap 4 star conveniently in the center. Quality was very good and spacious for a deluxe room. Would be perfect for a outcall session. Got 4-5 m in ceiling height and nice architecture.

No card for elevators if you manage to get a outcall.

Restaurants are open late, 01.00 or later in most cases. The expensive one usually state "until the last guest leave". Not on par with Kiev where many have 24/7 with sleeping chefs in the joint. Still better than most of Europe.

There were also some kind of 90 ies-retro-festival going on in Russia that were on all TV channels and people were singing bad Eurovision-90 ies-shit everywhere. Which hurt my fine ears a fair bit.

I texted (in Russian) probably 20+ numbers from my foreign number and not a single one answered. Except 1 of the Whatsapp numbers I texted. But they were closed.

Got some help from a nice fellow punter here on the forum to get in contact with a girl that new pornstars and such. But unluckily she never answered my emails before I got here. So maybe better luck next time I come!.

Felt kinda safe in the evenings / night time. Even when walking around in a expensive cashmere coat and black diamonds. Never even saw anyone I would label a "thug".

I think that is a great description of what is going on in Russia, and to some extent around the world. But I am surprised that you write this specifically about Petersburg. I would say Petersburg is way better than Moscow for brothel hopping, lower prices, more attractive girls, and above all friendlier and more sincere girls (relatively speaking).

My last trip to Maximus was a real dogfest of girls pleading for the $500 "all night" back at my hotel (=quickie). And the one and only stunner I met that whole night was from, yes, Belarus.

What little time spent in Moscow, they are more expensive and nowhere near the quality as SPB.

I am still finding some success at the salons for now but when that dries up, and it will, then will probably pack this endeavour in that city as well.
