Hey Prosal how have you been my friend? I'll check out the site. My fav city in the old SU is Minsk, I spent 2 brutal winter months there and never got a cold. I think P4P there is virtually non-existent, but I didn't need to. Clubs are full on Sundays and Mondays. This time only going for a few days, want to see some place else.

Kurenda, which is your favorite city? I don't know why we picked these two destinations. We are looking for city that is not too small with good nightlife and quality and well dressed girls. Language is not an issue, I speak Russian.

Great resource to know where to go out and what's "in" from Kaliningrad to Vladivostok.

Most russian cities are covered, plus a few others in Ukraine and Belarus. Also a multitude of fototeki-galleries about nightlife/social life.

Samara is a dirty city and sprawling, but that's not much different from any other big Russian city that's not Moscow or Piter. Just be sure to stay in the center and you'll have a good time.

The most elitnie klubi are Aura and Zvezda, and when you ask girls on the street the best clubs they will tell you these two. They're also the most expensive (of course) and in my opinion the hardest to score at. Much better are Metellica and Polet (Polyot) which are where the students hang out and get sloppy drunk for cheap. They are both very big clubs with multiple dance floors, so lots of targets if you strike out once (or even more than once).

The only strip club is Pablo Esco Bar, which is right in the center but I forget the name of the street. Cover is 500 RUR and lap dances are whatever you want to pay (but 100 RUR is minimum). I went there once and treated the girls well and then happened to run into one at a club later, worked out well for me!

I'm not into pros, so I can't help you there.

I would choose for sure Ufa, Samara is very complicated when you are gonna to move from your flat to the center or to the bar and so on.

Samara is pain in the ass, for how many cars they are and how few and little streets the city has. You really are gonna to spent much more time sitting in the taxi going from one place to another than in the bed with a girl....

Ufa is much easier and gives the feeling the city is much smaller and indeed it isn't...

Ufa has that club, suggest me from the great Jake993 that is Jet Club, great restaurant at first floor and on weekend at second floor disco full of so hot girls....but, but....

More than one girl told me, that the river of Samara are used by many girls during spring and summer as beaches to get tanned, full of bars and people out there.... I have no idea if it is true or not, so far as I was there in winter, but i saw the beaches and if they are full of girls, maybe Samara will not so that bad, even if, I will always choose Ufa, much easier and a bit cheaper too.

Ufa as capital of Baskiria republic, is muslim city, but you neither notice it, both cities are very safe, I was always walking and take taxi alone, never got problem....besides I almost fall in love, but it is another story

The quality of girls, is the same, you will notice no difference and as always, to find pro, it is enough to stop taxi and ask the magic word called "salon" or simply ja hocu devuski.

However so far as to fly there from Moscow is very cheap, you could maybe go to both city remembering that airport of Samara is really far from the city and yes, Samara is larger but more complicated and more dirty city. A lot of powder there in the streets in october, I cannot imagine in may....
Ufa seems more wealthy city.

I've been to both Samara and Ufa several times.

Both places have their ups and downs but I would give advatage to Ufa.

Both places are similar in size, Samara 1, 1 milion and Ufa a little less.

But Samara is more "provincial" than Ufa.

Duging soviet times Samara (then known as Kubishev) was a closed city due to military industries and this closed mentality of the people is stil noticed today. Also in Samara attack on foreigners of all kinds are regular thing.

Also people from Samara have criminal reputation in Russia for various reasons. Recently I read in Russian newspaper two articles how a criminal gang consisting of people from Samara was arrested in Moscow and how several policeman were arrested in Moscow because of corruption. They all were from Samara also. Besides Lukasek wrote here in forum about his experiance with apartment rent in Samara and it was not a positivie one.

In the last few years Ufa developed much more than Samara thanks to oil and foreign investments, night life is definitelly better in Ufa and in my opinion Ufa is somehow cheaper place than Samara because of the better choices for hotels, restaurants and night clubs.

As for girls it's more mixed in Ufa for those who like it exotic because of the large Bashkir and Tatar population which is about 50% of the city. Opinion is they are more willing to put up to westerners for several reasons.

In my experiance Bashkir girls prefer anal sex in order to stay virgins.

But in my opinion there are better places in Russia to visit that Ufa or Samara since this places will probably need some experiance in the terms or Russian language knowledge and getting around in Russian provinces.

But to conclude if you need to make a choice between Samara and Ufa then the answer is Ufa.

We've narrowed our choices down to two destinations. Could anyone please give a comparison between Ufa and Samara in terms of strip clubs and regular nightlife and in general the quality of the girls? We booked our flight on Delta out of NYC, 350 round trip in May, it's ridiculously low. S7 fares to these destinations are about the same. I'll post upon return. Thanks everyone in advance.

I mean when you meet regular girl at supermarket, when you go to swimming pool, lessons of dance, salsa, merengue or whatever or to Gym.

Also when you live there, you have a lot of time, you are not in hurry, this make you really relax, cause if you not score this week, so next week or month, sooner or later you get really many girls with almost no money at all. Something as Essi in Moldova I guess.

I'm not a permenant Russia resident, but have been spending more time there and the dynamic DOES change if you have more time in country.

Just off hand, I've noticed 2 main differences in my attitude and success:

1) with no time pressure and knowing you can always get a 2nd or 3rd date to score on, there is less pressure and the dates are relaxed and subsequently so is the girl. Scoring is no longer a pressure game, but more of a waiting one.

2) Back to point one, with the pressure off I have been putting on less pressure myself. It's led to some relaxed "fuck friend" relationships, but the edgy "I am going to fuck somebody tonight" is often missing and this element is a good one to have if you are looking to score often and fast.

Can't say yet if I am scoring less or more than before.

And another bad thing about "going native". If you live in a town, it is hard to hide your identity or disappear. Any girl who has been to your permenant apartment or knows your friends is a potential headache after you are tired poking her.

There is almost always *some* cost involved, whether it's emotional or monetary. In fact, of countless "freebies" I've had over the years, I can't think of one that was both "no strings attached" emotionally and cost me absolutely zero (not one drink, one coffee, metro/bus/taxi fare, etc...)

To define "freebie" I would say is any girl you bed that you didn't spend more on than you would a normal date.

Sometimes it is absolutely free, for example a girl you meet in a disco and take home or an internet girl that comes to meet you for a walk in the park and ends up getting face fucked before dusk.

As soon as monetary or pricey gifts are involved, it is more of a sponsorship/semi-pro thing.

Another way to quallify a freebie is a girl you've screwed before but will come over on a bootie call, drink whatever you have in the house whether it is Martini Extra Dry or simply bottled water, screw you as long as you want and then disappear into the night when you want to get some sleep... or stay til morning to iron your shirt for your 9am meeting. That's quality poon.

Specially thinking that I am sure with russian girls it happens the same as czech and slovak girls, that once you get good friend, sex is almost a normal thing as between two men to take a beer together, not as in west europe where even with a very good and long friendship with a woman, you hardly can wait it ends in the bed...
