It's a great disappoint to me that I am now back in the west. I wish I could have stayed a longer time in Russia. Another club worth a look is DudkiBar. 33 Sobinova st. I knew this bar / resto / club as one of the 2 main dance joints in Ivanovo and they have one in Yaroslavl. Getting there around 23h00 or a little later would be best bet and there will definitely be more girls than guys there and probably one of the least chances of encountering the local marginal type Russian men.

I can recommend writing to a few girls over mamba before going and maybe you can find a nice girl to keep you company, if you can speak Russian this should be very easy. If only English it's still possible with a little work. I can't tell you how many women in Chisinau speak Turkish. The main language is Romanian, which is very similar to Italian. So Italians feel right at home.

Tiraspol is the capital of the Transdnistria region. They consider themselves to be a separate state from Moldova, almost exclusively ethnic Russians.
