I dont know anyone in Slovakia who would put the adds in the newspapers. Hi Erik, I am used to go to Blava from 1998, I speak good slovak, even if I am not slovak.., and I live not far from border with Slovenia too. i have only just discovered this forum, more's the pity.

i was in bratislava recently but the only place i found of any interest was a sex shop / gogo bar.

however, i am more than happy to recommend it.

it is at spitalska 10 - easily found and quite near to the large tesco store, north of the river and at the south part of the city.

It depends on your definition of "ripoff." If you mean you're worried about having to pay a hundred dollars to buy a girl a drink, I have not faced that situation at all in Bratislava. If you are worried about having really good sex for your 60 to 80 euros, then it's more difficult.

The most expensive club, as has been noted several times in this forum, is the Big Apple. They will charge you 500 SKK admission plus anywhere from about 3200 SKK to 4500 SKK for some time in a room with a girl - anywhere from one half hour to an hour.

Another club within walking distance from the Radisson (I think it's called Celentano but not certain) is the one right across the New Bridge (Novy Most), in an odd looking building next to a large riverside park. Walk across the bridge and when you get to the end, veer just slightly to your left (you go down a ramp which will turn you back toward the river, but just turn away from the river and walk almost straight back, just a little to your left). You'll see some pink flourescent lighting on an otherwise non-descript concrete building.

There are many other clubs in town but those are the only two within easy walking distance to the Radisson.

Before you go into the club just ask if you can look at the girls before you decide whether to stay or not. That way you shouldn't have to pay the cover charge. But AFAIK Big Apple is the only club that charges an expensive admission fee. Club Mimi for example only charges 100 SKK. Others may charge as little as 50 SKK.
