Gipsy are not in slovak cigani ? Preco Roma ? Z romunsko ?

Cigani is considered to be slang, the correct Slovak words are man-Rom, woman-Romka, adjective-romsky language-romcine.

In English, Gypsy, as used to identify this particular ethnic group from Central Europe is considered to be slang or incorrect, the correct word is Roma. Most people in England who describe themselves as Gypsies or travellers have white skin.

The word comes from their own language, in which they are Rromane. (yes that's a double r).

People who speak Romanian are called (in Slovak) Rumuni, so that's a completely different group, although they share the state of Romania with many Roma people.

I can't imagine the price is anything more than 40 Euros, but it could also be less, maybe even 20. Obviously there is no chance that anyone will speak English but they will be able to speak Slovak. Conceivably they might know numbers in German or English, but you should learn ten-twenty-thirty etc. in Slovak before you go. There seem to be more around on a late afternoon and evening. It might be illegal to pick them up, so maybe best to wait after dark anyway.

As has been mentioned elsewhere the quality is higher these days in Privats compared to clubs but there are two new ones advertised now. I haven't been to them so I have no idea if they are any good or not.

I got asked the following questions in a PM, but they are general interest so I am going to post the answers here.

I don't know the exact address. It is a green eight story building on Jantarova, maybe one hundred metres from the point at which it joins Juzna (trust me that's enough to find it). It's kind of behind a gas station. The hard bit is finding Elisabetta from there. To get in, you head to the right side of the building into the carpark with the barrier, around the back and it is the second entrance on the left - not the restaurant. That gets you into a business center. Walk past the reception with ultra confidence (the woman is nosey so will ask where you are going already suspecting where and when you get into the corridor turn right. The stairwell is on the left through some double doors). The lifts are on half floors, so go up ten steps to find it. Go to the top floor and up the final half-flight of stairs. Elisabetta is on the right at the end of the corridor by the window. Blank door. Knock.

Lachitta is easier, Hroncova 5, which is itself a big courtyard. It's the door which is almost directly ahead of you as you walk in to the courtyard (slightly to the right maybe). You enter a business center with no receptionist. Lachitta should be on the list of companies in the building. The door number is there. You go up another flight of stairs and knock.

-In either or both places do you really have to call first or can you just arrive?(see next question)

You have to call it says so in really big letters in Slovak on both the websites (Neohlásené návštevy dievčatá neprijímajú!). General practice is they don't answer if you have caller ID blocked, so the police would have something to go on if they needed to find you. This might create a problem with a foreign mobile and might not.

-any English spoken at either location and this would be the only reason I would not phone ahead to make an appointment!

Don't know because I speak Slovak. It will depend on the girl, they are likely to have learnt some at school but they are typically bad students. There is nobody else there (sometimes 2 girls) so it really depends - the boss-person you call is elsewhere and you never see them. Elisabetta is maybe 45 square meters total - for two rooms, a shower, toilet and lobby. Lachitta has the same in about 35 square meters.

In the case of Elisabetta the boss is a woman, with Lachitta it's a man. They used to run Lachitta together and the woman left with her phone number to start Elisabetta, presumably taking the half of the clients with orange mobile phones with her.
