Recently I’ve been three times in Ljubljana, Maribor and surroundings.
In Ljubljana Hotel Lev is surely very good (I suppose the only five star in the city) but no action in the lobby or in the Casino (!).

In the central area there are some night clubs (only one advertises in classical Hotel papers like Slovenia Times it’s Slon at www.nightclubslon.com, a rip off in some fiend’s ideas.) but in my opinion they are all (there are some hard found strip bars) rip-offs. You will pay for a lady drink (in Euros) what you pay for a night with a girl in Romania.

The positive is that Ljubljana has 40.000 university students and 300.000 inhabitants so in school period the night live is fantastic. Of course it’s EU and nobody is seeking contacts with foreigners like in other former socialist states, but if you are staying a while and you have some luck… Lots of bars and night locals in downtown full of university teens… Locals are not so expensive and you can watch around and try… I recommend all the bars (over 20) in the centaur area around the river… full of teens (some willing) from 6-7 pm to 3 am.

If you want easy and low paid girls this is not the place for you. Slovenia is fully integrated in EU (in 2007 they will get Euro and Schengen). So let's go to other countries.

Spent few weeks in Slovenia between june and july due to my business. Not a lot of action in Ljubljana...

Went to Slon night club (5 minutes walk form the Union Executive Hotel where I used to stay). Typical night club with strip show with 8-10 girls, mostly from Ukraina. They could be rated all between 6 and 9 I would say. Only few of them speaking English. Nice environment, but very sad place as there weren't other customers

Prices pretty high. You need to offer champagne to have one of the cuties at the table for a while. Minimum damage is 30-35 thousands SIT (a bot 130-150 EUR), just to talk. Sex possible with some of girls, but price too high. You have to pay at least a couple of top class champagne bottles plus the fees of the girl. First rough estimate about 5-600 EUR,,, too much for me. I think it is possible some bargain, but I wasn't in the mood to accept this kind of rates.

Went also in some of the strip-bars of LJ, like Tanga and Double 6, but no action possible inside. Girls interested only in table dance (a real rip-off I think) and lady drinks. Anyway I found a Rumenian girl that was available to meet me in the hotel the following afternoon for 150 EUR. I gave it up as I work in the afternoon and I didn't really like the girl.

One night I Went at the Zalec Nocni Klub in Celje, about 60 km from Ljubljana, in Zalec, just before arriving in Celje (www.hotel-zalec.si/ to find direction). Real brothel. Arrived at about 11pm and found 10-12 girls from Ukraina and Rumenia. They were between 4 and 6 on the average. Just a couple of 8-9 according to my taste. Sex possible with all of them at an initial rate of about 120 EUR. I think that it is possible to go down after some negotiation, but I didn't try.
