So I spent a few days in Alicante. Not mainly a mongering exercise as I wanted to just wind down. I did however try to sample a few of the Asian parlours and everything others have said below is true. The prices are relatively cheap but the quality is awful: The "girls" are in their 50's or older and / or unattractive. Alicante is OK as a short tourist visit, the weather and beach are nice. Drinking is cheap, Restaurants are cheapish but not that great IMO.
