So I spent a few days in Alicante. Not mainly a mongering exercise as I wanted to just wind down. I did however try to sample a few of the Asian parlours and everything others have said below is true. The prices are relatively cheap but the quality is awful: The "girls" are in their 50's or older and / or unattractive. Whoever posts the ads on the various forums has absolutely no regard whatsoever about the truth- putting completely fake photos seems like second nature. They will even insist to you on Whatsapp that the photos are real- don't fall for their lies.

This is a completely different experience from what I had in Barcelona and Madrid albeit some years ago where the girls were young and truly stunning. What's happened? China gone up in the world?

The non Asian places are also a little hit and miss but I did not try a sufficient number to make a reasonable judgement.

Alicante is OK as a short tourist visit, the weather and beach are nice. Drinking is cheap, Restaurants are cheapish but not that great IMO.

Ads for two or three girls, an apartment displaying its attractions. You get seven, eight or more ads running on autorenew & if you've no reason to believe it's a big villa or an escort service, they're probably taking the piss.
