* Can you pinpoint the exact door to venicitas? Can't get a address on their site.
* What are your thoughts of the new proposed law against pimping. See BaltiX post. Surely the end of clubs like Lasuite / Felinas and more. If the law is very strict then maybe all shared flats, even likes of Venicitas, might be targeted. Surely not all girls at Venicitas are on the lease, so might the authorities claim that whoever is on the lease is pimping the others? Haven't read more than the article and the isn't passed yet but I still see this as maybe the first step towards total ban. Coming from a country with total ban I see it is not impossible if there is a political will.
Of course all depends on exact phrasing of the law and how its acted up on. One positive is the supreme courts OK to OTRAS union which the top courts said was OK, which might lead to banning prostitution completely might be difficult. Early days on this but what are your thoughts?

Posts: 2968A couple of other recent things worth noting about Vecinitas.
They changed their hours and are open earlier in the morning and more importantly they are now open on Sundays.
And one of the ladies, or one of the assistants, is a skilled writer of the English language and often helps doing replies in English. Always still a good idea to send the WhatsApp message in both translated Spanish and in English, but the reply may well come in English when you do so.

Hello Friends. I'll be visiting BCN next week and plan to rely mostly on outcalls to my hotel. I know that hotels in BCN usually have no issues with the ins-outs of guests and their temporary girlfriends. Although should I be concerned that hotels in BCN, since reopening after lockdowns, may be clamping down on non-registered guests entering the rooms? Thanks in advance. Will be sure to report experiences next week.

Posts: 2968Good point. I suspect the person I was conversing with just forgot about Flor. I suspect that Flor speaks English.

Room sounds cheap. Not sure if those girls are ready to walk with you to your place for 15-20 min or they prefer that cheap room a street away? But I suppose it is better to pay 10 for the room than deal with "the trouble" of going to your hotel.

The true teen type was exactly what I was looking for. Alexia was on my list already, and now hearing that she has strong English, she'll be at the top of my list.
From your #5570 post, you also mentioned Flor speaks English, so I'm planning to visit her as well. I wonder why their WhatsApp no longer list her as strong English. Regardless, I'll report back and let you guys know.

There is new law, in which the government has passed, but not the courts and parliament, that is mostly focused on reforming laws on rape and sexual violence but has a section regarding pimping. Apparently it's focused on clubs and owners of those establishments who take advantages of girls can be jailed for few years, even if the girls aren't forced. Posts: 2968Thanks for the compliments.
I sent Vecinitas a WhatsApp message, and they said that the following are the strongest English speakers.
Alexia.
Veronica.
Adriana.
Andrea (off the website at the moment but presumably returning).
They all have reviews. Alexia's are quite exceptional if you are looking for the true teen type.

I have stayed in the Placa de Catalunya area before. It is walking distance to a lot of restaurants. Kind of far from the ocean, but better metro and airport bus connections than the beach hotels.

Regardless, I'll probably try some of the top reviewed Vecinitas girls from the mercado forum and will report back if any of them speak good English.

Posts: 6I will be in Barcelona in August and would like to thank all the contributors for this thread. I will post my experience's once arrived. It looks like I should focus on teensbcn, Vecinitas and ElEden53 as an initial go to and avoid the strip clubs. Then use the mecacdo site for any other independents / flats, a brothel if I want a line up (for higher cost), and maybe try one of the Asian flats if in that mood. I did find the map on mercado but not sure how up to date it is. How much time lag is there and hassle when it comes to booking? Basically how much time should I be expecting to spend on the phone trying to set something up. It is almost a job just setting something up some places.
I'm wanting to still do some vacation tourist stuff so trying to figure out the logistics on that how it looks day to day. I'm still looking into the city but it does seem fairly spread out when it comes to all the flats and sites. The only thing I've not seen a lot of recent info on is where is a good hotel or area to stay in. Is there an area of the city or a hotel / airbnb anyone would recommend? Maybe close to one good flat but still good for tourist stuff? I've already heard it can be hard to find a cab late at night and with no Uber how is public transportation overall when it comes to going to all over for the flats?
