Not a precise answer, but I recall, some times (years) back, being in an Asian house, and the girl took my tool and brought it in. Almost, I stopped her when I realized what was happening. My guess is that it may be possible in some of those places, but discreetly and for some extra money. But I am speculating here.

I of course meant the Swedish government, not the Swedish people, most of whom oppose the idiotic Nordic model of penalizing only johns. But trust me, big gets noticed more than small by those who oppose this activity. When Canada was debating this subject recently, one of the most vocal lawmakers said Canada could not fully decriminalize commercial sex because it would end up having four story brothels like Germany does. No doubt that prude knew about Oase from some taxi advertisement from a Frankfurt trip. Big clubs with huge overhead have to advertise a lot and it gets noticed.

(LOL I am a Swede) You might be right that the clubs allow illegal workers in their domain so of course in a big tourist city as BCN it sets great demands on the club owners. But if they run the club in a lawful manner and locate out of the citycenter there shouldn't be too much of a problem because it clearly works in other cities. I think you are correct as you hinted the more sophisticated sex-worker is likely to be a independent escort rather than working in a club or brothel.

In addition to the future legal concerns, the other worry I have about big clubs is the concern that they seem soul-less. I get amazed at the number of reviews of them that fail to mention the name of an actual girl, or any services or characteristics other than a low-priced suck and fuck. I associate big and standardized with the most soul-less place in the world, the United States. People shop at WalMart and eat at McDonalds because those places have driven so many real stores and restaurants out of business. It is delightful that Europe rejected the "big box" and still has a soul. When in Barcelona, I like to read the reviews and choose a variety of different ladies in various apartments, brothels and my own hotel room that I will remember for a while, preferably three-hole players who are open to some kink. If you stick by your guns you have no other choice than going to Club Paradise in La Jonquera or (my personal favourite) Club Privee in Reus/Salou (Tarragona) .... you get to experience the best clubs around Barcelona. Forget the club scene downtown.

I agree with Shark 16: Club Paradise, 1 HR 30 min drive north of Barcelona in La Jonquera (N 42 23.975, E 2 53.002, www.clubparadise-privee.com/) or Privee, 1 HR 15 min drive west of Barcelona, in Salou (Tarragona, N41 06.949, E 1 07.441, http://privee.es) are best.

I didn't say there were not good looking girls in the mega clubs, I meant that the attractiveness of the 25 top ones is amplified by comparing them to the bottom 25. I just think the mega clubs invite too much attention from the wrong people. There are of course pros and cons with clubs vs brothels / escorts but if I have the chance to choose I will always choose a good club before brothels / escorts, but we all have different preferences.

It's not as if the Club has to be located on the middle of Ramblas, normally these kind of clubs are located in industrial areas or a long way out of the citycenter. Sure Barcelona is a grand touristy city much more tourists than Madrid, Malaga, Valencia etc. The only city that is just as touristy but much smaller I would say is Marbella (PuertoBanus), but I really don't see the problem. It's not like the old Riviera was a big problem, I mean it was located more or less on the highway, the fact they were shutdown by the court and police that's a different matter.

... But to be honest the lineup at places like TopDamas, Felina, La Vie En Rose, PerlaNegra etc. Is much better than these small barclubs. That said I am also disappointed with Barcelona because I am very much a club-guy and dreaming of Scandalo and ViveMadrid when I'm in Bcn.
